Loser's finals with Gamerbee and Infiltration was one of my favorite sets ever. That was so tense and mentally exhausting just watching it. I can't believe Gamerbee had the mental fortitude to continue on into grand finals and perform like he did.

I honestly think Loser's finals might be one of the best competitive gaming matches I've ever seen. I think it'll stand the test of time.

Definitely agreed that it'll stand the test of time and it's by far one of my favorite sets I've ever watched since getting into fighting games-- might be my favorite on a rewatch in a few weeks
Winner's Finals was filled with so many mind games in and out of the game though, so I have a great appreciation for that.

The two best matches, imo, were Momochi vs Infiltration and Nemo vs Ai Ai. The former being a great mixture of intelligent, well played and tense matches of careful reads and footsies eventually devolving in to some bullshit mixups and other trash. That set almost felt like watching how SF4 rose and devolved through its lifespan. Also they played well and it was tense as shit.
Watching Ai Ai adapt to Nemo was pretty remarkable though. It went from being a wash to Ai Ai getting his shit together, flipping the entire set around and almost clutching it out. Nemo simply wasn't adapting at first while Ai Ai showed incredible intelligence and quick thinking to recover. I can't wait to watch that set again once I'm settled in at home.

Biscuits blew it up talking about the split and after a girl got on camera shared her Instagram that contained artistic nudes of her and her paintings which contained tons of penis etc. Oh boy.
Tinshi and Floe started going in on each other. Tinshi called Floe a jew and said he would rape him at 3rd strike.
Floe went in on New York and said it sucked apart from food and that Henry Chen was cheap ass for not having seats at China Town Fair.
Biscuits said at least Henry still had a running business in NYC and asked like where Watts was. (DAMN!)

I'm the only one that thinks that if SFV turns well, it can hit as big as LoL in terms of viewership? And other games will benefit about it?
Biggest difference between FGs and LoL it's that people that aren't into videogames and mainstream media seems to like them. Also it's easy to know who is winning without notions of the game.

I'm probably going back to Melty (which hasn't been since MBAA). UNIEL's fun, but I've had my fun in this version already. After Evo side tourney, I'm just a little tired of Nanase matchups lol. Plus now that Evo's over, now's the time to just play whatever I want until Evo announcements.

Evo was very good overall. I wished I could show evo to my friends but they are all "o thats not for me" even though they watched melee and smash 4 evo finals.

Capcom Cup will be the final hurrah for SF4 so hopefully that'll be close to as hype as this was.
