If this is the case, it's his fault you agreed to do these things for him for free or as a favour or out of the goodness of your heart without some sort of binding contract that they're collecting interest on this? As a grown ass adult, are you not allowed to say no? I mean, come the fuck on.

If he did do things like eat people's food without their permission, that's something else and a legitimate criticism, but like Shouta said, is pretty opportunistic and conveniently timed to expose such a thing.
 
How much would an EVO trophy and that Gold stick even go for on the market?

I would have to imagine he can get above $500 for the gold stick.
 
Some new details about Necalli from famitsu

In the description of his V-Trigger, Torrent of Power, we learn that Necalli can remain in his transformed state indefinitely. As a trade off, however, Necalli loses access to his V-Reversal during V-Trigger.

V-Reversal: Guiding Yell
Sends his opponent flying with a powerful roar. After repelling them, follow up by rushing in.

V-Trigger: Torrent of Power
Necalli releases his true power. All of his attacks become more powerful, with no time limit, but it's a double-edged sword that makes him unable to use his V-Reversal. Suppress your opponents with ancient power!

V-Skill: Power Collection
Necalli can send shockwaves through the ground. It's also possible to adjust the shockwave's location via directional input. This V-Skill can also be used in long-distance fights to limit your opponents' movement.

Special Moves:

Discus Guidance
Necalli rushes in while using both of his hands to tear at his opponent. This is well-used as a surprise attack or a combo ender.

Earth Mask
A simple yet exciting move where Necalli grabs his opponents head and smashes it into the ground. This exemplifies his herculean strength, as he waves the opponent about using just one hand.

Critical Arts:

Honor Ceremony
After a mighty roar, Necalli rushes in and smashes his opponent against the wall, and showers them with attacks. While the attacks are primitive in nature, they will undoubtedly lead to fatal wounds. Also, if he does this while in V-Trigger, what then... ?!

Didn't MCZ ebay off some gold sticks last time towards charity and those sold for like 1k

Top 8 all got gold sticks last time, this time only top 3 so there's even less in circulation

His V-Trigger is interesting, has a unique twist to it. Wonder if there is a way to deactivate?

The V-Skill sounds like Goro Daimon's ground pound.

Lots of anti-fireball tools in this game, even Ken has a great one in the air EX tatsu. Players like Daigo will definitely have to rethink their fireball game, not to the extent of 3rd Strike but heavy adjustment will still need to be made.
 
I think I saw KBR say on Facebook that he's keeping the gold stick and planning to use it. I don't think he'd sell any of the Evo stuff unless he was in major dire straits. Finally getting that big event win (and they don't come bigger) means a lot to him.

Also, is Haggar the first character to win 2 Evo Marvel 3 titles? (I can't remember if FChamp used Phoenix in 2012 or not.)

If I had a good stick, I don't think I'd use it.

Other Japanese people in twitter replies are saying things like "I can't read it." or joking like: "Maybe he wrote it in code so his opponents couldn't read it."

I can understand bits and pieces (#2 and #5 being the most legible for me) but yeah, a lot of it is not decipherable for me.

The parts I can read aren't mentioning specific people in the top 8, but instead general things. Like #2 seems to be about what he should do on wake up, and the last line of #2 says [something illegible to me] becomes a "losing pattern".

I think his ground pound stays, he loses his alpha counter. Presumably because he doesn't act like an animal when awakened.

Birdie can still chug in RHCP mode, so SSJ Blanka can still use his pound?

Oh, thanks, I misread it as him losing the V-Skill.

What is the V gauge for after he transforms, then? Does it go away?

Why don't we have gameplay of him yet? -_-
 
Probably can't use V-Reversal since he stays in V-Trigger indefinitely.

This extends to other characters too right? Might make characters like Bison, whose trigger can last a long time, think twice about activation (since he won't be able to alpha counter out of pressure).

I found someone who made some sense of all but #4 (he said ４番が分かんない [I don't understand #4]) of Ogawa's notes. These still aren't 100% accurate, as he had part of #2 wrong. I've corrected it below:

1　エディゲージ赤のときはぜったいせめこまない。
2　うけみとったあとのふゆうからせめこむのが小川の まけパターンになる
3　回収キキャンてってい。
4　空中【　　　】はないときはしな
5　がめんはしこんのアレをきめる。

#2 Basically says "Attacking during the float directly out of wake up has become my losing pattern." So it sounds like he's saying he needs to be more patient after ukemi.

Edit: Will add more as I translate:

#1 Absolutely do not attack when the Eddie gauge is red.
 
Finally got my SFV key. Had to go through Amazon chat but I got it quick and easy, so other Canadians should try that if they haven't already.

Interesting they have noted it's only Tier 1 access. Wonder if it will carry forward depending on what the other two betas are for. I suspect it will since Tier 2 is on PS4 as well and they probably need as many people as they can for both platforms.

Do we know if we can play with friends in this beta?

I can't recall if they did anything the last time they made gold sticks, but they did auction one of the sticks that they made for Capcom Cup.

I think that would make sense. Certain characters have unique advantages and disadvantages though. Cammy can access EX move in V-Trigger apparently.

yeah it might not have been gold sticks, but I know they auctioned off something once.

And probably ever will be again. Nothing against Gamerbee or his skills. But, I have to imagine that the chances of being in Grand Finals again are slim.

Maybe I'll just practice with Ryu, as he's available to play in both.

FChamp used Phoenix when he lost winners finals, so she was used in top 8. His Dormammu team did all the real work though, particularly taking down ChrisG.
