Even in that Justin Wong set, ChrisG was just shaking his head the entire time.
And this was in losers. His first match on stream was against Marvelo in winners pools and dude was shaking after every match, trying to calm himself down, wiping the sweat of his hands and stuff. He was easily winning but he was a nervous wreck.
Every single EVO man he gets the worst nerves. I am afraid to say it but it really looks like ChrisG is past his opportunity to win an EVO now unless he completely remakes himself as a player.

I don't know if I've ever seen Chris take his eyes off the screen so many times during a match. What's up with that? RF was glued to the action. Chris needs to learn some meditation.
U can tell Chris wanted the win so bad. Damn I feel for the nigga.
Zero making grown men cry.
RF plays Chris G's exact team tho
THIS IS WHAT MORRIDOOM DOES
Kappa
Just look at Europe though. They have 2 premieres left and Dreamhack Winter does not give out any points. There is money being given out so all the asian killers will go. A European pretty much has to get top 4 and either win or hope whoever places infront of them already has qualified. Europe also only has 4 more ranking events left.
They only have 3 players in the top 32 (Ryan, Luffy, Problem). Valmaster is clearly top 3 in Europe so he can potentially knock off an American from the top 32 standings.
"yeah but the marvel 'gods' clearly didn't care anymore!"
DAMN never thought Chris G would get this emotional after a loss....damn
AMA: Dios X said:- How does it feel to indirectly level up the scene by making chris ragequit at SCR to found morridoom and to indirectly nearly kill marvel with said morridoom?
"I ended up playing him at winners side of my pool of SCR and my stick was acting up, i wasn't getting jabs and I would get butterguns with doom instead of H footdives and it cost me that set. Chris was using Firebrand and ryu at the time and my team, well, with the additions to UMVC3, everything on my team just got buffed to be honest.
I ran into him again in losers finals and ended up with another stick borrowed from a friend and won the set pretty convincingly, just being lame, zoning, floating away with storm, ect.
I remember after it was all over, I went out into the hallway where they had sofas and stuff to relax and Chris was sitting there, looking down with his head in his palms, with this "i can't believe this" look on him. My day was done for Marvel at that point, so I went to play Skullgirls and eat In-N-Out and all that jazz. I came back like 3 hours later, and Chris G had not moved from that spot. Still sitting there with that look on him.
I think I made him snap. So yes, its my fault. Im sorry guys."
if Chris G would of made top 8, he would of won
if Chris G would of made top 8, he would of won
Can't go wrong here, these three guys have have all shown themselves to be unstoppable for a good period of time. I'm happy that Momochi was able to put an Evo championship under his belt this year, I think the way he's been playing, he deserves it.my top 3 pick for best ultra street fighter player of all time

So who put Champ and Chris in losers anyway?
Yeah Chris G doesn't seem like the most mentally strong person going by that clip, it looked like he wanted to give up like ten times in that match. If I had to guess he's probably way too critical of himself and lets minor mistakes ruin his day.
I stated before EVO started that FChamp isn't as strong going into this EVO because he missed a lot of tournaments and was lacking that tournament edge. FChamp thought he could make that up by a couple of weeks of grind but it doesn't compare to people like KBR or RayRay who were grinding the whole year and going to max possible tournaments.
I always felt like Chris needed friends more than he needed sponsors, honestly the one dude I thought would benefit more from a EMP "development contract" than a esports sponsorship for a legit organization. This has always been Chris G. He has always been his own worst enemy in that he defeats himself with crippling insecurities when he makes a mistake. He doesn't recover once he starts bashing himself over a mistake...he breaks his own will into pieces and is usually busted pretty hard.
Remember when he took on PR. Balrog early in UMVC3's life and in a heated Grand Finals ended up getting Shinshoryuken due to the input leniency system? He just ...stopped hitting buttons and teared up. He kept repeating things to himself the rest of the match and took his hands away.
Chris G is a guy that I wish had someone there who could reach through his own criticisms to hug him out of those moments at tournies. He needs someone who can make him return from his own doubts and criticisms in those moments, get him back out of his head and get him back into the moments in front of him and away from those behind him...as is once he disappears into that area he just sort of spirals away from everything around him and falls apart.![]()
@ApologyMan_: Just got bodied...Mom found out I took the Prius to Evo(wasn't supposed to) because someone in Vegas stole a hub cap from one of the wheels.
Judging by how well Cross knew the match up, it' not surprising he won against ChrisG.
Flux winning over FChamp is surprising considering FChamp was whooping him at FGTV. I guess that's the difference between at home play and EVO play.
But you can get your own code easily...Post EVO blow up
Spooky said he is going to give away SF5 beta codes tomorrow at NLBC.
You can hold back new tech. It isn't an excuse on its own.Even Justin seemed like he was skipping tournaments as well. I wonder if they found out some new tech that they wanted to keep secret but over estimated their utility? Would be sad if it was just hubris that made them slack.

Hulk isn't even any cheaper with drones most characters. Don't want to get mixed up blocking drones? Then don't block drones. Jump out or fly away.

So Necalli is probably an Aztecan character after all since his name is Aztecan. Not sure if people already knew or not, but cool.
You can hold back new tech. It isn't an excuse on its own.
Guess he was the character Ono hinted at for Brazil? Strange that they debuted him in the New Zealand stage, though.
There's those in Mexico too you knowAnd now we have the game footage
Check dat edit, he has a ton of Maori stuff on him too I read, so now I'm totally confused.
Maybe it's like T-Hawk who's a Mexican Native American.
or he has someweird split personality thing idk
yeah, jumping is actually a trap vs hulk much of the time, his airthrow ability is really gross (dash+jump has incredible burst speed and goes really far) and he capitalizes on your commitment to a jump by being able to press forward and most likely hit you or lock you down- see how rayray and jwong kept getting clipped in that manneryou'd be surprised how jumping won't save you all the time. i can say i took a match from the evo champ lol.
There's those in Mexico too you know
It's not dreads it's braids btw, it's why his hair does that when he V-triggers.So Necalli is probably an Aztecan character after all since his name is Aztecan. But he also has Maori traits like the dreads and stuff.
