Well I'm feeling pretty doubtful that I'll be getting my code from GameStop through e mail. Since I reserved the game the guy at GameStop had no idea when I asked him anything about the beta. After he researched and called other GameStops all he could tell me was to come in after the 20th cancel my reserve and reserve it again to get a code on my receipt. Pretty stupid if you ask me. But, whatever I'll go in tomorrow and do just that.

As Combofiend said, the only reason this beta exists is to test the netcode.

I bet the next beta (this fall) is about testing PC/PS4 crossplay, and the third one is about game mechanics and balance.

I'm so fuckin excited for this game. Been playin Ryu to get acclimated because he is gonna have to be who I play this weekend (wanna try Bison and Nash obviously looks dope too). Since my boy Gouken is almost certainly not gonna be in this gotta change it up.

Also, since I play on PS4 recently, it's gonna be nice to have the full community in one spot this time around.

Yes also interested in hearing about stick compatibility... I was thinking of picking up one of the cheaper Venom PS3/PS4 sticks and doing some mods to it on the buttons, will that stick work for the SFV beta?

Update for Gamestop: Called, they claimed it was supposed to be printed on the receipt. I pre-ordered right after e3. Had to go down and have them cancel and re-pre-order it, and the new receipt has a inch long section with a code on it.
