So, uh... I don't know how to phrase this, exactly, because it's a question borne of total ignorance on my part.

If there were some sort of crowdfunding thing to raise money for the prize pot at Evo, what would the impact be to the tournament, do you think? Would we see dramatically higher prize amounts, would there be more interest in specific games than there is now? I'm imagining a scenario in which the Smash community raises $200,000 and Daigo mains Jigglypuff for a year.

I don't recall anyone in this thread laughing or being amused. Most of the posts I saw were pretty sympathetic, though I still feel bad for RF having to deal with that amount of pressure and bad vibes from the people cheering for Chris G. I did lol that the video uploader labeled the video "Comedy" as its genre, though.
