I'm in Ireland here, and I got no code. Pre ordered 48 hours ago. Chat said I would have it by Wednesday.

Edit for us Europeans. Capcom blog says

Sign-ups will close on 7/15. Users who are selected to participate in the Beta will receive an email on 7/23 with instructions on how to access their Beta redemption key

In best buy canada it says you get the code if you preorder online only. I still haven't gotten it.

Just read there's no PS3 Stick support. Time to get good with a controller I guess.

Sony doesn't send any codes regarding this. If you pre-ordered from PS-Store, you should have it in your Library as a separate app.

Someone has managed to get into it? I mean it wouldn't surprise me if it is blocked since other betas have done it. Especially since this is a real beta rather than just a demo disguised as one, so there's obviously going to be things that aren't near finished visually.

I have a PS4 SF5 beta code if anyone wants it, I pre-ordered but haven't picked up a PS4 yet. I know these codes are easy to get, but tossing it out there anyway.

Not for NA, but for EU; we had to signup for the beta program.
But the beta test will start tomorrow anyway, either I'm not in or they will send tomorrow, we'll see.

You could try and preorder from amazon.com, but i think you MUST use a u.s address. I still haven't received my code from them and they're being awkward about issuing me one over customer support.

I know, but thanks for the warning. The skill levels of my friends are all over the place, so back when SSF4 came out we'd usually take turns owning fools online (while drunk).

It says Share is blocked when you try to connect to the servers, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Maybe it turns sharing back on once the you've connected to a server, who knows.

I feel like it would be pretty weird to block streaming for a public beta, it's not like there's an nda or anything. And streaming is basically free publicity.

You wait for your online matches in the training stage, not sure how much you will be allowed to do there in term of training settings though.

Lots of good info here
-Whiff specials don't build meter (air tatsu)
-Chains cancel into specials (in 4, you needed to link the last hit to make it special cancelable. .crlp crlp shoryuken works etc.)
-Can activate V-trigger on special cancel-able moves.
