Old Man Logan is definitely an improvement from the last issue, lots happening every page. I'll have to physically compare to see if it's actually longer too.

If you ain't reading Weirdworld then you're fucking up.

Surprised to see the Old Man Logan praise this week. I got halfway through the issue and decided to drop the series.

Where did Maker end up again?
Thought it was Siege, but I might be wrong on that.

Unless things changed with this week's books (or some of the previous ones I missed), I don't think we know where any of the survivors ended up. Thanos is south of the wall based on hints from the Siege and Solicitation art.

Old Man Logan had some absolutely terrific sorrentino art. Loved the way the a lot of the pages were constructed. Getting very strong Divine Comedy vibes.

E for Extinction was legit unpredictable. Can develop into quite something.

Marvel Zombies had the best modok acronym in a very long while, and Elsa remains #bestheroine

Future Imperfect was meh-ish.

Weirdworld. Best thing this week. By a Very. Big. Margin. Perfect from beginning to end.

Loki is runner-up for first place. Straight outta vertigo's golden times.

I'm rooting for the Maker because this version of Reed is the best version, IMHO. We need the Maker wrecking shit. Let him end up in the same area the Ultimates are.

Old Man Logan 3

Logan has to think he's dead
because he keeps running into corpses. Those symbiotes are going to claim OML as host only to find out their future sucks and they need to jump into a volcano. Was that the ultimate version of Boom Boom?

Where's Ultimate Kitty Pryde, Wolverine's son, Johnny Storm, and the rest of the ultimate mutants?

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of.
Could've sworn I saw Maker in one of the issues over the last 2 weeks.
Maybe it's me conflating the post Secret Wars stuff though.

Spoilers for today...
Quill in Star Lord and Kitty Pryde is 616.

I do wonder how much time is passing on Battleworld.

wait... what? The symbiotes are not from a past iteration of OML. Or from any certain domain. Besides, those symbiotes you saw at the end of OML #3 are in the Deadlands, they're zombies. It can't get much worse than being the cannibalistic undead.

About Boom Boom, that's the AoA (Age of Apocalypse) version of Boom Boom. @the Ultimate characters you described: they'll probably be in Ultimate End.

Wait what?
So Star Lord and Kitty Pryde takes place directly after the SW issue where they all get teleported?

Not instantly, apparently some time has passed since Quill's been separated from the rest of the group. He got work as a singer in Manhattan and sings Disney songs. Everyone loves him.

I admit I liked the book until I
was reminded of the hamfisted relationship Quill and Pryde had.

Yeah it definitely seems there will be a time jump before the next issue of Secret Wars, based on Star-Lord.

E is for Extinction was great this month. Awesome final panel.

One of the reasons I love Old Man Logan is the art. Every page is great to look at.

I read Marvel Zombies #2 as well.
What's the speculation on the kid? Why is his flesh so different? Also, Elisa and Deadpool team-up? This will end well lol

Weirdworld was perfect, easily the book of the week. Old Man Logan and the Loki finale were also great.

and no, I didn't see that ending in E is for Extinction coming at all, but who could?

Every day that goes by I'm looking more and more forward to the Al Ewing future in All New All Different Marvel.

Btw, I read Star-Lord and Kitty Pryde as well. I didn't think it was that bad actually.

So it's the 616 Quill. Wonder where the others are. I suppose Miles got back in the Ultimate Domain.

Can't wait for Siege and the next SW issue. It looks like Thanos was sent to the Deadlands but manages to survive and disrupt Battleworld.

Whilst I've liked a lot of the Secret Wars tie-ins so far, Weirdworld may be the one I add to my TPB collection if it manages to keep up the quality level. Everything about it is just great in its own right and I hope we get to see more of it after the event ends.

So Quill in his series, and Thanos in Siege.
Wonder where the rest will show up.

Reed'll probably stick to only Secret Wars, and I imagine Black Swan too.

I imagine Spidey and Panther will stick with Reed, both are honorary members of the FF after all.

This Week's Secret Wars books

1602: Witch Hunter Angela #2
Age of Ultron vs Marvel Zombies #2
Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars #3
MODOK Assassin #3
Thors #2
X-Men 92 #2

Another lighter week. AoU vs Zombies and Thors for me. Maybe MODOK, but I wasn't a huge fan of issue #2.

The wait until SW #5 is painful. Two more weeks!

Lightest week ever. Probably reading all of those unless I read Angela first in which case I'll fall asleep before reading the other books.

I still haven't read my comics from two weeks ago.

So is Star Lord & Kitty Pryde the only title so far to focus on one of the original survivors? Or is my memory letting me down? I've subbed most of the tie ins,

Thors was great again, that eulogy was amazing.

It furthered what we've seen over the last few weeks, with
Odinson sounding like he's our guy, the dude who died fighting the Beyonders.
The phrasing was vague enough that it could be another of Aaron's red herrings but if it's him, it raises a number of questions about the scope of Doom's reconstruction.
At this point, it's entirely possible that on the other side of this, everyone will remember their 616 lives and that will be that. IIRC, that's pretty much what happened to the New Mutants in Secret Wars II. They died and later on, the Beyonder just brought them back to life.
