I think the update message is an erroneous one from the update server that's not quite 100% even though the biggest problem has been fixed. There's no title update available, and you can check that manually too.

I think the best way to get in is to wait for the servers to go down. Find out when the servers are supposed to go back up. Keep trying to get in 5-10 minutes before they said the servers will be up.

haha...I've been playing PC games and browsing gaf while just hitting a button on my stick every min so. I do have a wedding to attend later so I'll have to stop soon. I'm sure right before I have to leave I'll get in.
