Because they didn't expect the server code to collapse under a stress test so they didn't plan for it? The full 5 days we were promised is still planned for when these showstopping errors are done, so you should get your time.

NA gets access to BETA with pre-orders in other regions people have to be selected. It's obvious there's more NA players trying to get in which is killing the servers.
