Street Fighter V Beta Thread: Welcome, future '16ers! (Currently Inactive!)

I've played in countless public and private betas and alphas for about the last 8 years and this is by the far the absolute WORST I've ever encountered. I'm not even kidding.

It's 2015, game developers and publishers, for some unfathomable reason, still find it necessary to reinvent the fucking wheel every time they wipe their asses. Nothing seems to be iterative, well managed or stream lined to be efficient. It's simply unacceptable from both a business and consumer perspective. Yes, development is hard and vastly complicated, but so are a lot of other things.

And they wonder why gamers are so angry and spit so much vitriol. There is absolutely no excuse as to why there are server capacity issues for this game. None. It's pure incompetence and carelessness.

The way Combofiend is updating the blog is like he's pretending the beta is working as planned....I'm worried that today will count as one of the 5 days the Beta is up for.

I'm going to be busy all day tomorrow, if tomorrow is the only day I would play, I will be so freaking salty. Seriously, this beta debacle is leaving a bad taste in my mouth

I really doubt we get more than an extra day.

Iirc LK and MK cancel into lightning legs. You can do the jumping Hp x2 + crouching HP x2 combo from sf4 and combo that into lightning legs or ex spinning bird (spinning bird does more damage I think)

That's not real. The only reason you won't be getting into the beta right now is because there's not room in the server for you, and that's on their end, not yours. If it makes you feel better, close the application and restart it.

Damn right. I can be eloquent and polite about it, but fuck it. This is genuine, grade A, bullshit.

Capcom wants needs us to buy their game. We don't owe them shit. If they want us to buy SFV that bad, they are doing a terrible job at convincing us we should. They should be killing themselves, breaking their backs and should have stopped at nothing to make sure this worked. We should be criticizing the game's balance, performance and visuals, not being livid about seeing nothing but a goddamn title screen for two days straight.

This is some scumbag ass shit. I'm not even raging that hard that I can't get in. But this is just...not a good look. No one wants to feel like the odd man out when people are winking and giving backstage handshakes.
