It's unfortunate that the "leaked" playlist is more than likely faked (already deconfirmed by Harmonix) as it does have a great number of songs that I would love in Rock Band. I'm not too worried about the setlist, though. Harmonix always knocks it out of the park with the on-disc selection, in my opinion. Give me something a-la Rock Band 2 mixed with a little Rock Band 3 and it would be perfection.
They have already confirmed that "My God Is The Sun" is on disc, so hopefully that means that we might see some more Queens of the Stone Age DLC in the future. I would love that too!

oh I know you can, doesn't make it any less awkward to suddenly not be singing along with something.
I understand a teen rating means you might be able to reach a larger audience (from my experience though the number of parents that keep their kids from getting M rated games if they allow teen is very very low) but I have always hated censorship of music, and in a game like this where they could easily include a censorship toggle where the vocal track just isn't played at certain times if it was on it makes it even more annoying.
but alas I get they want a more family friendly image with the game, it's just a shame that as an adult I can't play/sing along with the song as the artist originally intended it to be heard.

Has there been any details on the Xbone adapter? Price? Is it a pack-in? Do I need to preorder 5 of them in case they disappear like the Gamecube adapter?
nothing on any adapter yet, but I'm going to assume details are going to come out this week due to Gamescom
I'm going to assume every standalone is going to be $69.99 and includes the adapter

I hope so, which is why I'm assuming why you can't preorder the Xbone version in Canada because no one has a SKU for it. Scrambling for one, considering how fast the original midi adapter disappeared, is something I don't want to think about. lol

Guitar Hero was nominated for three categories. Two of these Rock Band wouldn't even apply for, in my opinion.
Best Social / Casual / Online game - With no online, I think that kills Rock Band's chances at this category.
Best Hardware (incl. Peripheral) - Rock Band's not really changing anything up with their new instruments, whereas Guitar Hero completely reworked theirs and made something very different.

TL;DR you have to have a publisher exhibiting the game on the show floor (we are not) and you also need to pay a fee in order to be considered/nominated.

Edit: Going through some more of these and holy hell, some of these are incredibly unknown. This track has a whopping 20 views. Curious how you guys came across them, local acts or something?
