THANK YOU!!

Anyone else absolutely love that theyve brought back the intro voice actor from Ds1? That monologue at the beginning of Ds1 was amazingly well done and gave the game an eerie feeling right off the bat. Hopefully we get another.

Hey look, it's Sif in full plate. Or a giant version of those annoying dog skeletons.

*screams in horror*

Well... I think it'll hold up better this time since the console-to-PC disparity isn't as severe.

I guess, since by the time Dark Souls 2 was released, the consoles were eight years old. Still, PCs are pretty far ahead of the current gen, but I suppose the gap isn't quite as large, even if it's still large.

Looks very nice, I'm liking this yearly souls game.

Also I hope it looks like this on release... Remember last time

Bloodborne is already out.

This is the same engine and has similar visual quality.

I don't understand why people are bringing this.

[sarcasm]
Not to even mention this is Team A!
[/sarcasm]

Now with the third and what they say is the last Dark Souls do you think they''ll go back and remaster DS1 for PC? I mean that shit right now is a mess, even with DSFix, it's still playable in a sense but there is still work to be done.

I hope so anyways.

This game is what I live for. That throwback to DS1 at the beginning...hnnngg

I'm 99% sure DS3 won't receive any downgrades. From the looks of it the game uses the Bloodborne engine and it releases on current gen only.

Completely different move set.

This gif is straight up Dark Souls.

Instant backstabs are back.

Except for the roll and quickfire arrow which is great.

I hope they don't force me to double dip again by staggering the console and PC releases, but I won't hesitate to do so if they need the time. After the Arkham Knight debacle, I'm ok with having them get it right the first time.

That looked really washed out. I want a better trailer.

Did arrows always stay stuck in enemies? The enemy has two arrows in him, until the player adds a third one. Nice touch!
Pretty sure they do. They probably disappear after you kill the enemy though.

I've spent a guilt-inducing amount of time on my first Dark Souls run over the last few days. I had played sporadically before and ended up putting the game down for whatever reason, but in the last two or three days I've gone from Blighttown to
the last lord soul in the Duke's Archives
. Game is insane. I feel like I'm maybe 5-8 hours of game time past actually fully understanding the game and its mechanics, like the entire first game has just been training me how to Souls. Can't wait for this one, gonna have to forgo NG+ on DS1 to get into DS2 though.

Looks fantastic although as we've been saying for some time now the setting looks a bit too much Gothic.I'd prefer a more Romanesque setting like in the previous Souls games.

I feel a bit of Bloodborne influence mixed in, which would seem natural. Bloodborne had some great improvements over Souls but regressed in many ways as well, by being so brutally streamlined in terms of RPG systems such as builds and gear. The best parts of Bloodborne mixed with an authentic Dark Souls game makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck.

Arrows sticking out of things is not new unless I'm for some reason wildly mistaken.
