LOL! Donald Trump needs to bring this stuff up. Erik Erikson is quite the a-hole himself . . . 'make a sandwich'? Holy shit.

All i can hope is all the people loving the Trump right now are doing it for the LULZ and wont actually vote for him. Please god i might leave the country if he wins, it seems like a terrifying future. I mean Trump gets off on the 1% getting richer. He is proud of greed. He is basically Michael Douglas in Wall Street. You dont want that guy in office during the biggest income inequality period of a long while.

We have this hint from ppp

If there had a been a big shift in his standing they would have mentioned it given they mentioned Fiorina.

yeah, sounds like the "wait, this doesn't count because he must be tanking" stuff the pollsters were saying after the mccain comments

Anyways, I think if Trump wanted to say he thinks Kelly was on her period, he would h ave just said it. He isn't known for nuance, especially when it comes to his misogyny. I think this one is reaching

Especially when he tried to use the same line on Chris Wallace

Missed the part where you weren't American. We've unfortunately got liberals here in the US that think the same way.

Sure, it wouldn't be a doomsday but anyone identifying as a democrat should want the democrat nominee to win for the supreme court appointment at the very least. This isn't the time to play risky games that have a chance of not working at all. For all we know we might have another 2014 with no voters turning up for midterms.

Generally speaking (and to oversimplify), when the House changes hands, it’s because of a negative reaction to the party in control of the White House, and those changes often happen in midterm years. 1948 provides a rare counterexample of a reaction against the congressional party in a presidential year, but the congressional party did something noteworthy — it passed a divisive piece of very important legislation (over a presidential veto) that contributed to the unusual outcome.

^Might give some hope to a hypothetical Trump victory going south in 2 years for a Democrat rump but no guarantee it would be big enough give current structural problems and gerrymandering from 2010.

In terms of a Democratic win:

Perhaps a President Hillary Clinton could preside over a historic midterm breakthrough for her party, but there’s little reason to expect it far in advance. Not only does history advise against it, but so do the Democrats’ current problems turning out their younger, more diverse electorate in non-presidential years.

The goal of Democrats despite the odds of a R House for the foreseeable future:

There are of course plenty of important reasons to hold the White House even in times of split government — lifetime judicial appointments and wielding the immense power of the federal bureaucracy are but two perks — but voters and the media can question whether Clinton will accomplish any more than Obama has with divided government. (A Republican elected to the White House, on the other hand, might have unified control of the government, although that president will be without 60 votes in the Senate and thus will be hamstrung to a large extent.)

I think so too. This is a guy who has made utterly careless remarks about sexual innuendo. He'd have said so straight up if he wanted to.

The last time the media tried to saw his knees off over political correctness (McCain comment) it had the opposite effect. I think Erik opted to follow along with the Repub Establishment in trying to being him down to earth. I think he'll survive this.

I wanted to dominate the living room. Then I took an ESRAM in the knee.
Shit, this might be his most immature insult yet; quite an achievement.

Fox has exposed themselves to the nutters what they really are, just a mouth piece of the GOP establishment

Kelly's questions to Trump were proof that Roger Ailes doing favors for George H. W. Bush (Papa Bush) who go back a long away

George H. W. Bush may be old and ill but he is still pulling the strings on Roger Ailes real hard to stop the Trump

When did Fox and conservatives give a shit abut misogyny?

Fox News regularly bring on guests that makes misogynistic comments all the time. I'd imagine at least half their male anchors and hosts made misogynistic comments at least once on air.

GOP operatives makes misogynistic comments every damn day, as those Ericson tweets are just one example.

If that Trump press release is real, than he just pulled some God-Tier judo on the GOP candidates:

- Donald Trump says overtly sexist remark that has just enough wiggle room to walk it back and claim it was misinterpreted
- Trump gets banned from Redstate gathering by Erik Erickson for said comments being offensive
- Other candidates still go to gathering
- Trump points out all of the terrible, sexist, offensive tweets Erickson has made which are FAR worse than Trump's statement
- Trump can point out that all of the other candidates are going to and supporting a person who is sexist and toxic beyond what Trump has done

This is the greatest political season in American history. Every day is like Christmas.

The fact that there is no daily show or Colbert report to cover it is a travesty

This is like Spider-Man 2 when Doctor Octopus makes the big sun-looking power thing, and Spider-Man unplugs the power but the sun thing is still on. "It's self sustaining now" Doc Ock is Fox News in this metaphor.

The GOP have horribly underestimated Trump's media savvy and it's backfiring on them horribly.

I hate to defend Trump but there's nothing sexist at all about what he said...

You guys keep laughing at this but I would be deathly worried. I'm being serious here. This starts with a laugh but it's going to end ugly.
