Has anyone managed to establish a good timeline of Battleworld events/issues?

I don't think there is one. All the books seem to be going on at roughly the same time.

Renew your vows is damned good so far. Slott haters can suck it.

SIEGE is definitely my surprise of the week. What they did to Hank McCoy? Holy shit.

Someone on Facebook just asked about a Superman vs Hulk fight, and of course somehow Thor got brought into it.
It made me go back and read Thor and Hyperion's last stand from Time Runs Out. Damn, such an awesome moment.

Seige directly references Thanos in "Infinity Gauntlet" looking for "some kind of glove" which is going on...at the same time. It also has America Chavez show up after getting sent to the wall in A-force #1.

For all intents and purposes the events are going on at the same time. maybe not literally the same second, but it's a matter of days. Way too close to make any sense of.

Armor Wars or Squadron Sinister events were brought up in some other books I can't even remember.

Kate's story in #1 was pretty good.
The Daredevil story in #2 was really good.
And then Scott Aukerman's Doc Sampson story in #3 was alright.

Btw, Red Skull #2 became one of my favourite tie-ins as well. It's great.

Overall I've been liking the quality of Secret Wars as a whole; only a few books left a bad taste in my mouth (Ultimate End being the worst offender) and several series are really surprising (Spider-Island, Red Skull, Thors). I weep for my poor wallet when I'm going after the collected editions.

In some ways this story is worse for the Ultimate U than Ultimatum was, mainly because Bendis really should have known better.

It's Battleworld. But so much about it doesn't work. The plot is constantly meandering and focusing on dumb counterpart conversations, then suddenly everyone from the two universes bands together to fight each other over the two opposing Stark views. That wouldn't happen. People would be more divided over it. The Hulk sideplot is dumb, as is the Punisher's with him being a disproportionately big threat here.

Yup. I thought it would suck but I'm loving the series. It would make the bases for a great kids cartoon show. Reminds me so much of kids shows from my childhood. Such a fun read.
