Just read the last Master of Kung Fu. It was alright. Kind of a weak last issue relative to the ones that came before. Everything felt rushed just to get to an ending. I think it would have benefited from another issue or two.

Also in terms of SW tie ins, what are some must reads? I'm currently reading:
- Master of Kung Fu
- Thors
- Weirdworld
- Old Man Logan
- E is for Extinction
- Infinity Gauntlet

All of which I'm loving. I wanted to check out Korvac Saga since I liked the DnA Cosmic run but the reception I've seen for it online seems to be average. Now I'm curious about Siege too if Thanos has anything to do with it.

just found time to read SW #5
and I think its a good possibility T'Challa and Namor have been sent to find the eye of agamotto .... if they don't kill each other first

Nice slow burning issue. Awesome that the Molecule Men bomb theory was right on the money, now I don't have to edit the OP.

Yo but the real hype is where survivors ended up. BP and Namor in the exact same spot? Thanos at the Shield? Danvers in the grip of Sinister? Strange is a funny dude.

Siege and Korvac are both great choices. I'll also throw in Marvel Zombies, Inhumans Attilan Rising, A-Force, Starlord and Kitty.

Thanks think I'll look at Siege and Korvac for sure. Maybe Inhumans too, I liked their role in War/Realm of Kings and I loved the Paul Jenkins book.

From what I've read about Marvel Zombies everyone who seems to likes it because of the main protagonist. I'm not familiar with that character so I never ended up reading it. But if you think that's unimportant then I'll check it out.

How about Future Imperfect? Again it's pretty much characters that I don't know about but I'd be lying if I said bearded Hulk doesn't look cool lol.

Cannot wait for this. Definitely the biggest surprise for me among these books.

Well we kind of knew Thanos would end up in the Deadlands because of the issue #6 cover. I'm loving all of the Thanos faces the last couple of years. Doesn't compare to his smug face in New Avengers though.

Yep Elsa is why I like Marvel Zombies. I had never heard of her going in.

I'm not sure how much importance it has to the overall SW story though. It could based on where it's taking place and where they are going but it hasn't yet.

Don't know about that one. It's one I haven't been picking up.

Yeah, it has some Iron Fist, but it's Shang Chi's story.

I don't have much exposure to the character. I remember thinking Shang Chi felt really out of place and kind of useless in Hickman's Avengers run. He was one of those characters whose scenes kind of sucked the momentum out of the main story (along with Sunspot, Cannonball and Manifold. And Amadeus Cho. Fuck that guy.)

It would be cool to read a series with him in his proper element.

Bananas. Sunspot and Cannonball bring the levity and Manifold is one of the big puzzle pieces to this whole story.

And we know what the result of that will be thanks to Siege #4's cover. These covers are ridiculously spoiler-ific.

Owen isn't held captive. Hickman's going with the characterization that he's been sorta friendly with Vic since SW1, when Vic helped heal him.

As for why Reece would choose to stay down there, dude's not quite right in the head.

Sunspot and Cannonball were awesome additions. Their shock at Beast betraying them was worth their inclusion alone.

Money can't buy you love?

Wel Owen is a captive of his own mind then :P

The Molecule Man is the conduit for the power that Doom has stored for his own use (meaning he doesn't outright contain all of the power himself - which also means he could be cut off from it). In fact it says exactly that in the latest issue.

"The Molecule Man will serve as a conduit, Stephen. Together we can save the remnants of worlds..."

Now given that the power is separate from Doom, who wants to bet that all of that power will be used to remake (or make anew) the multiverse by the end of this?

Huh, I never really paid attention to the dialogue that much, but I can definitely see what people are talking about with the theory that Owen Reece becomes Galactus in All New, All Different.

Where's Sentry though, anyone seen him?

Doom made so many duplicates of all those other schmoes but no Sentry?

Remender left him in a pretty cool place in Uncanny Avengers - I hope he comes back from space after Secret Wars to kill mutant scum.

Oh yeah. Thank Doom for no Sentry. The worst character of all time is nowhere to be seen.

Hyperion isn't around in Doom's Battleworld either. Or did I miss him in a tie-in I didn't read?

Interesting.

Kind of explains why Galactus would be a part of a superteam.

With Blue Marvel, T'Challa, Ms. America Chavez, Carol Danvers, and Monica Rambeau.

WHO NEEDS A TEAM THAT OP

Wait, what? Secret Wars Secret Love is actually a thing? :(

edit: Actually, I take it back. The art in the previews is SUPER CUTE :D

Oh wow, the villain in Captain Britain and the Mighty Defenders is straight up quoting David Cameron.

I am going to be so sad when we never see her again. :(
The true power of Annie NO :(

Edit: I just read Secret Wars: Secret Love... it's my favourite this week! I mean seriously, the best stories are with Ghost Rider and Ms. Marvel (lol that ending), the Iron Fist and Misty Knight one
Luke Cage: doesn't like chunky peanut butter
and the adorable last story of Ant-Man and Wasp.
I laughed way too hard regarding the puns. Captain Ameribug, Rolypoly Hulk, Motheye and Pizza bug lol

Interesting stuff going on with Loki, and I guess Silver Surfer (but I don't read that).
Loki (and Verity's ghost) still exist outside of Battleworld, as do those ancient Gods or whatever (which might be Beyonders). This might mean that stuff like Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars really doesn't take place in Battleworld.
