This being year two, I'm sure there will be more people going compared to the first time.

Early bird tickets are already sold out. However it's hard to tell not knowing how many Early Bird tickets were available in the first place.

If I had to guess, I'd say attendance will be up but it's hard to know if it will sell out or not without knowing the size of the venue. Not to mention the unknown impact of the venue change.

Me and 3 of my friends went last year. This year it will be me and 7 friends. But that is hardly anything to go off on for attendance being bigger this year.

I hope they have something fun to collect like last year's deck of cards.

What are the 3 dream announcements people would like to see from PSX then?

For me:

1) Ape Escape 4, no question. Open expansive levels, lush cartoony graphics, an absolute dream.

2) Playstation All Star Battle Royale successor of some fashion. Bring in curveball characters like Kutaro, Iota, and the Pomeranian from Tokyo Jungle. Speaking of which...

3) Tokyo Jungle successor ("Kyoto Jungle"), 4 player co-op maybe?

I'm also hoping they do another run of those grey PS4s, but I'm not holding out too much hope. I'm just looking forward to being surprised :)

After E3's announcements, everyone will be "PT and Silent Hills or we riot" :lol

Guys.. I have a feeling that R* will be there..

If Story DLC for GTAV gets announced before PSX, then we'll be in for a big surprise. Take-Two has ONE UNANNOUNCED AAA title that will launch within their next fiscal year. What better time than to reannounce Agent during this conference? Or even RDR2?

EDIT: My mistake. The unannounced title was Mafia III. But I'd assume Rockstar does have something up their sleeves with major job openings in various studios.

I made a form / spreadsheet for the PSX SF NeoGAF Meetup!

Quote this post to view / submit.

Also, made this...

That's cool!
How to join?

Totally expect this is where they will reveal ff7 gameplay.

They said more info this winter, and this is in the winter.......

Agreed. I think this is where we'll see it.

Original PS1 gameplay footage for the troll to come full circle would be the greatest.

Or start with the original PS1 footage, fade into remake footage as everyone thought the original troll trailer was going to do :D
Either would be maximum trolling job.

My dream announcement would be a "Crash is turning 20 next year and he's coming to ps4", Sony has somehow managed to get the IP or helped make this game (because let's face it, it's not gonna get made otherwise) and many of the key people who worked on the original trilogy are now working on it.

Of course, that won't happen.

Edit: Also, thinking about it, if they really don't want to risk too much. they could possibly even go for a budget title that is similar in scope and playstyle to the original triolgy rather than try to go big and reinvent the classic formula that worked so well. Crash 1-3 still sell quite a bit on PSN (like FF VII does) I think there's a good amount of people who'd buy a new crash in the style of the first 3 in a heartbeat. If Mario can keep on coming out with 2d sidescrollers, what's stopping Crash from going back to the old style.

I think now is the best time than ever. Sony are literally in bed with Activision, especially with Destiny and now Call of Duty. There has to be a reason he isn't a skylander yet.

That will be really nice.

PSOne, PS2 and PSP classics are like the main thing I want out of the PS4 right now (outside of new games obviously). It'd be especially awesome if they let you change the resolution of the games, could you imagine playing games from those three systems at 1080p or at least 720p?

I'm now awaiting people telling me about how they are already doing that on their PCs, that's not what I meant breh :P

Just bought the early bird badge right now, so it's there. The Capcom VIP stuff still look available too, though I didn't go through the payment part with it.

They must have added inventory to both because both were listed as sold out earlier.

CAPCOM VIP are back in stock, now if you've already bought tickets? Wow that's a problem.

Unless it will let you add it on if you are signed into an account that already has tickets. Can someone who has already bought tickets but hasn't bought Capcom Cup try for me?

Just checked and I am able to purchase the add on of capcom cup if I wanted to.

Anyone? I'd like to see some validity for this.

I've checked verendus posts. From what i understood, production for it hasnt even started. Kinda early to tell if they ever will start at all.

If it is going to be made, its going to have a better fighting system in terms of mechanics and better presentation. Basically, correct the shortcomings PSAS1 made.

Edit: oh yeah. His Posts. Heres a Gamefaqs post that collected verendus's posts. Sorry i couldnt link them myself. -_-

hell yeah get Japan Studio to remake Demon Souls the way Microsoft did with Gears of War Ultimate Edition.
sorry for the double post...

I'd rather they keep everything the same and just clean up the image with higher res.

There's no point in ruining Miyazaki's art style with controversial changes.

I've been replaying Demon's Souls recently and I find that it still holds really well in terms of visuals. It looks way better than I remembered.

I'd much rather have a new title in the series than a remaster, but who am I kidding, I'd still buy it if they release it. :D

So many great games on my Soony list, but concerning PSX all that matters are first ingame impressons of FF VII-R... and hey Boyes, don't look at me, it was you who opened Pandora's box. Now open it a second time like Pandora did and free 'hope'.

I have just the early bird package no capcom tickets. If I log in and go to upgrade the option to buy Capcom tickets is there.

My hotel is booked and so are my flights. Cross county for this, 6 hours in the air. I'm Damn excited! I'm already registered for the gaf meetup, though I can't drink alcohol. I'm just excited to be there and see everything.

There is no way for them to monitor this. They aren't verifying ticket purchases before allowing you to book or anything like that. "Discount" rates is often smoke and mirrors anyway. The Hilton was $159 on all the other sites for a day or two after PSX was announced.
Duly noted. Thanks.

Damn I might have to drive up...might be epic

do I need to buy tickets or can I just show up?

Last year you could, but you would be missing the best thing about the whole thing, the conference.

Besides, with how good last years event proved to be, there might be more demand for the tix this year.

I wonder how much room there will be for the Capcom VIP? Feels like a lot this time, but only like 10 of the 30 or so spots were even filled last year.

After some debate, I've jumped on the Playstation Experience 2015 bandwagon. I got to go to their inaugural event last year, had a blast, and have never been to San Francisco, so why not? The flight from Chicago to San Francisco was $200, but I paid the extra to fly Virgin for the first time. I've heard only good things. I am officially hyped, even though we're 3 months away.
