Its been a while since I picked up a game on disc but I'm tempted to try and get Mad Max or MGSV in time for the weekend with it being a bank holiday. Where is my best bet for somewhere that ships early?

Have Max on order at Simply Games already as I seem to think they ship early and it was less than £34 with them, Id cancel to go with someone else should there be more chance of having it Saturday morning

Probably more likely when a GOTY edition is released. Or when they start pushing out DLC for the game (all quiet so far).

If they do a DLC they might do a small discount on the base game, not a big one though.

If they do a GOATEE Edition, the base version might also get a small permanent discount, but you'll still be looking at a pricey game.

There's cheap ones on eBay, my brother got one for his. Although, it's better to keep it flat to help with heat dissipation.

I stand mine up just fine without a stand. That said, if a strong breeze came from the window or someone brushed past it slightly, it would probably topple quite easily. Depends where you put it really.

My PS4 stands fine vertically without a stand. Just make sure it's on a flat surface (obviously)

If you get a stand then you will have to come to terms with your PS4 sounding like a hairdryer. Looks great though.

The official Sony stand is actually pretty cleverly designed (I have two) in that the stand has it's own vents, so the PS4 just sucks in (or puts out - not sure) air through the vents in the stand instead.

No, it actually adds more ways for air to go in than not using the stand when putting the PS4 in vertical position.

I have the stand myself and there are slits all round the stand/on all sides for air to go in.

CEX are hit and miss. If it's in their warehouse, usually next day. If it's stock in a local store that they can't shift so they mark it as online stock, it can take a while. But you have no idea of knowing.

Game said the same thing, but ShopTo have said Friday/Saturday dispatch is them taking into account the bank holiday apparently.

Well Konami are apparently asking them to hold back so if any retailer ships early, it might bugger up their relationship.

I can see them not caring tbh. Make a bunch of customers extra happy, or protect that massive line up of releases Konami have planned for the future?

Email and ask. I think they started marking games with 'Import' where applicable, but if you care, ask.
