Whoosh, hope my copy (of the magazine) is in the post. Great score from Edge, though I was sort of expecting a 10.

I guess the "grinding" and slightly bloated design, plus incongruous story/style probably knocked a point off.

I think afew gaffers do. Saw someone asking for the xbox 360 version in the review thread. And why not? His gamr in particular seems to run just as well on last gen with a bit worse, but still good graphics. I heard yhe Fox engine is black magic.

It is a sort of unique combination of fortuitous things.

SimplyGames have no qualms about sending out a game early to make sure that it arrives on or before the day of release. Getting it the day before is usual.

Monday is a bank holiday, so sending out the game extra early ensures that the game will arrive before release despite no deliveries on a bank holiday.

Therefore people should be getting their SimplyGames orders early. Heck, probably even if they ordered now.

The quality of Ground Zeroes is evidently the same as TPP, from Edge's perspective. It's just on a tiny scale instead of a huge scale. It still felt like an almost perfect size.

9/10 for both makes perfect sense to me. It's not like the "10" in X/10 means the same thing for every game.
