I assume it's skippable. MGS3 and PW are probably most crucial for V as its Big Boss's story. I'm sure there's some stuff that you won't pick up on by not having played 4, but I can't see how not knowing about events that happen decades after this game in the timeline would make this story incomprehensible.

Lucky guys from simply games ha ha. Ordered with ShopTo. Hopefully shipped tomorrow...or Friday at least. Would have been tempted to go with simply but...steelbook is too awesome to ignore.

Fultoning people is one of those game-y things that Kojima doesn't take super seriously.
In Peace Walker, Snake fultons people at the end of a few cut scenes and it's done in a silly way. I think the most they've come to explaining it is that they 'convince' the people to work for them. If they go into any detail in TPP, it'll probably be a funny tape conversation between Snake and Huey/Miller.

I typically order my games via amazon, they're pretty good with day1 deliveries, but they were sold out on the Collectors Edition so I had to go with gamestop and pay the extra $12 for the day1 delivery, although this note kind of scares me:

Yeah true, but they had the steelbook simply, ha ha and it was cheaper (At least if you had gold status)
Game collection I have used on some occassions, and yeah they've been good every time. Simply games I havent tried as much actually, seeing the praise and MGS V shipping from them though I'll have to in future.

I live in the US, is there anyway for me to get the Shinkawa steelbook? The only reason I still have my CE preordered is because of the steelbook and even that looks like shit.
