So you all went mad with Lucky Chloe, but this is fine?

"Hey look, I didn't read the thread and I'm going to make a stupid post."

And I don't even know why are you comparing Lucky Chloe to R. Mika, two completely different characters. A person can hate moe idols and like over the top female wrestlers, you know?

So your question doesn't even make sense.

I also can tape a porno over my VHS copy of Citizen Kane.

Mods have now ruined cinema as a valid art form.

Where's your god now.

I can see why you would associate Mika and Lucky Chloe together. They're like Dead or Alive characters.

When are we going to get Street Fighter x Tekken xtreme volleyball

Oh, there are definitely people who are mad. Just nowhere near as mad as they would've been if it were Ingrid instead (probably the only announcement that could even come close to generating the amount of salt that Lucky Chloe did).

I've never really played grappler characters but Mika looks so awesome to play as. The V-Skill is absolutely brilliant

Hell the only two true grappling females that come to mind are:

R. Mika
Shermie (KOF)

(If there's more I'd love to know who!)

It's a rare archetype I've wanted dot see come back for a long-ass time.

Mika is an old character, designed nearly 2 decades ago, being brought back.

Chloe is a new character, created in 2014 who only seems like she was created 2 decades ago.

Therein lies the difference.

Also, Mika is a legit fighter. Silly or not, she's not a random pop idol forced into a fighting game already filled with females who look like pop idols. In SF, Mika fills a pretty unique role as the only female powerhouse. 17 years later, we still don't have many thick, female grappler characters...meanwhile, Lucky Chloe felt dated the moment she was announced.

Ingrid being announced would be hilarious to watch

Probably, yeah.

I don't even want Ingrid back because she is has an idol tier design. I just want to play her in a newer game. She had to be introduced in one of the worse games Capcom has ever made though...

Shermie is super fucking dope as well.

Man, people can sure turn a cool announcement into complete shit in no time flat.

I'm going to body some fools with Mika when this game hits. Hip presses and wrestling outfits all day long.

Im really happy R.Mika is the first character in SFV to represent Grapplers. A lot of Alpha series love so far in this series. Now lets give the rest to 3s crew and new opponents.

Her CA is just bonkers! I love it!

That's not a public release. I'm talking someone releasing a full, finished mod where females are nude and NOT for the purpose of sexual excitement.

If that's what they want to do, they can do that. But as others and myself have said, they are literally appealing only to those on the fringe and outskirts by doing so. It's not like those mods are going to suddenly get officially placed in the game.

Anyhow, you seem to be on a moral high horse here. The mods are not literally rigging the characters in the game to perform sex acts; none of the animations change, none of the sounds change. They are literally doing the same thing as usual except now they're naked. And again, that goes for both girls and guys, because it's not like male nude mods won't happen. But it's only stimulating if you let it be in that case.

You don't want the mods? Don't get the mods. Literally 95% of everyone in this thread will be ignoring those mods. But by trying to be overbearing in censoring the existence of those mods, you only incite the modders to want to perform them even more, and they will find a way no matter what.

They have a right to enjoy the software they purchased in the all the same capacities you and I do, but if they want to engage in behavior that segregates them from the vast majority of the community, they have that right as well.

And yes, you do have the right to criticize what they do, but you criticizing them isn't going to stop what they do, and you have no right to force your ideology on them. Neither do I or anyone else in this thread.

How does that work?

You charge down while doing crouching normals:

something like her cr.mk > cr.lp > st.mp link

as you do cr.mk > cr.lp you charge for the SBK, and then you let go of the stick to neutral, hit st.mp, then hit up and LK to get the SBK. It's a very small window, but you keep the charge for enough frames to input a standing normal and cancel it into a down / up charge special.
