They usually do but not in my case. They also say everything gets sent 1st class apart from consoles or larger items that go by courier and when I checked the 'dispatch' thing it said it was sent 2nd Class.
 
Sooo I shouldn't be expecting any Metal Gear from shopto when I get home tonight? I can't even see a despatch email. Not getting it tomorrow would be supremely disappointing. :(
 
Soo...not EU only I guess, and probably already posted somewhere but I didn't know and was pretty happy to find out:

The catch is, it doesn't come with the steam preorder bonuses or Ground Zeroes (although you can still get that one for free

thanks for this, I normally get an e-mail of the packet or a dispatch confirmation, didn't get one , but my order says completed which means dispatch :D.

If it helps, I eventually got my email at 10pm. Not sure what's going on over there but I'm sure yours will have been despatched as well.

Oh god. Imagine waking up tomorrow and Metal Gear being there. Just like right there. Waiting.... >_<

I just got it 15 minsish ago, somehow I doubt it's accurate lol. It'll be torture. I'm ps4less atm waiting for the MGS one to be delivered ><.
 
Checked shopto at 5ish and saw my mgsv had been dispatched, got the email at 9:30pm. I would love to believe it'll arrive tomorrow but I think release day is looking more probable. Best of luck all!

Is it first class? If it was sent out before 4pm you should get it Saturday.
 
Can you guys do me a solid and check if MGS UK is a multi5/7 (subs only, I know) release or if the fuckers have pulled a PES?

Well my MGSV from TGC hasn't arrived despite it being sent on Thursday. Typical that I cancelled Mad Max yesterday as I was expecting to be too busy with Metal Gear.

No new game goodness for me this weekend :(

Anyone know the cheapest place on the high street to grab Until Dawn?
 
So Shopto decided to dispatch last night of course so now i'm sitting here with a copy from Shopto and Simply, think i'll send the Simply one back because of that steelbook.
 
Until Dawn is currently £33.99 at BASE it is a bundle copy however....

Also tesco currently have this offer on if anyone is tempted to pick up a ps4:

Did you get yours?

I ordered it from Shopto and forgot to cancel so I've ended up with 2 copies, my brother is gonna take 1. Same as you I got my email last night at like 8-9pm and it arrived today.

It is the same as the GTA V release all over again, their last collection for parcels is 5:30pm so most likely they where shipped off then and then marked all copies as dispatched after that so as not everyone is expecting their copy today but instead for release. It also allows them then to keep themselves in line with the publishers request of not sending early.
 
Feels like I'm the only person who ordered from Simply had didn't get their game - in the middle of central london as well.... Believe the postman has come and gone...

Yep! I very consistently get 1st class post within a day, though, so it might depend on your area.
 
Good on shopto I got my copy of phantom pain. Typical though considering I got my simplegames order yesterday. Ah well friend is buying my other copy.

You're not alone. My MGSV was sent by Simply on Thursday and I still don't have it and I'm in East Side London.

Damn you Royal Mail.

You're not. Mine was dispatched on Wednesday and I still haven't received it. Pretty sure it's lost now though so I'll just go buy it on Tuesday, does anyone know the cheapest place instore?

Then again I live in Sweden.
Also I am at the Metal Gear part in MGS 1 on PsOne, so there really is no hurry for me to get the game.
Might watch the rest of MGS1 on youtube. Not liking the battle vs Metal Gear. even though it's in the end.

Finish it if you can! The stuff after that is quite fun and you have not got a lot left anyway.

Fuck that fight tbh

I really enjoyed it but 1 has some really shitty frustrating boss fights. 2 is a bit better but they don't become frustration free until 3.

The code only works for orders higher than 50€, but Mad Max would qualify since it's 49,90€ + 5€ (shipping).

Also available in shop but don't know if they ask for money now or at release.
 
Got my Shopto copy of MGSV today in Ireland, couldn't be happier with the service really especially considering when it was sent. Steelbook looks quite nice and is sealed too. Already have an offer of €60 on my copy of the game as it is, might try hold out for €70 though.

I'm also awaiting mine in Ireland, the orders page lists the postage as first class for some reason, even though I only paid £3. I'd be happy if it arrived tomorrow.

Edit: Looks like mine's waiting for me at home!
