It's a shame. Feels like they had a lot of story tell but didn't make enough missions for it so they make do this instead to get to the end. I wonder how many people will bother since most people don't even finish games they start. This is asking for a whole new level of commitment.
Is it ever too late to go to the med bay for this thing you're all talking about. I'm on mission 45.

Try deleting any data the game has already installed, turn the console off and then back on and try again.
Im still confused if there will be an unlockable title sequence like MGS2/MGS3.
That video where kojima meets with kyle cooper clearly states he worked on the title seq of MGSV yet all we got was a prologue and then we get dropped in afghanistan.

Happens every new MGS game. The hype is huge among those who are fans and other people want to see what it's all about but get turned off by the long spanning story and other stuff.

also, just climbed up a mountain and found an invisible wall. oh wow. was not expecting that at all
do you have to import it? my pc version just said i got stuff from GZ that would join my motherbase as the game progressed.

Never, according to Konami.
I am assuming it's because of the native second screen functionality in the PS3, 4 and XB1. 360 isn't getting it and also lacks second screen.

all i want about the companion app is the ability to listen to all the tapes i have while i am not playing. My commute to work would be better spent listening to these, than trying to listen in game while trying to play the game.

Question: My roommate played about 3 hours today on my PC and says that there isn't any option to load/start a new save file. Has anyone been able to find where the directory is that stores MGSV save files? I'd like to at least save his somewhere so he can load it up when he wants to continue playing.

I'd been waiting for Mad Max, and decided to wait until the library got this because I'm cheap and my interest in the MGS series has waned over the years, possibly due to depression.
