Man, I got my Fulton upgraded, D-Dog, and a tranq sniper rifle. I'm almost all set

Is there an easy way to get vehicles to stop in the middle of the road? Do I just park a car in the street?
I always put a sleeping soldier on the street. Everyone stops for him, exits the car and wake him up. Gives plenty of time to act.

Soooooooo where are the surveillance cameras? The game keeps telling me they exist and I can even send out teams to disable them in the combat deployment but..

I've never even seen one before. Just finished Mission
18
and have yet to see a camera.

Is that another thing they start using later on?

I saw one in the airport during a mission. That's the only one I've seen.

It's kinda sad they had to cut out a huge plot point because Konami wanted to get the game out earlier.

Goddamn it Huey,
stop fucking lying all the time

So many annoying characters

SO MANY

I don't even understand WHY he does it.

He is such a weirdo in this game. He seemed perfectly fine in Peace Walker, I really liked him back then. But now, everything involving Huey is so... weird.

I don't understand why they keep torturing him and all, they know damn well he had nothing to do with what happened 9 years ago.
I just don't get it.

I'm still pretty early on, but I just heard the radio message about
Quiet. Something about how there's a sniper out there who is super deadly.

Where do I have to go to
recruit her?
Or is it just something that will happen naturally?

It'll happen sooner or later, don't worry about it.

Chapter 31.

I like Skull Face literally talked for about 8 minutes straight and all Snake did was just stare.

God, i can't keep my focus in this game.

Every time i sneak somewhere, once i'm close to the objective i always make a false move and get discovered by the superhuman enemy AI.

I basically end up trial and erroring the same mission over and over and spending 1 hour.

Its getting real stressful

Anyone else run into the issue where when you counter a knife attack it no longer gives the cool disarm counter but rather just a block to a combo? Maybe I'm doing something wrong =/

Edit: Nevermind, I was the issue :x

I kind of hope Splinter Cell becomes a ripoff of The Phantom Pain. KojiPro said that the environment artists got priority in design over the level designers and it really makes the locales feel more authentic and not laid out to be a bunch of waist-high cover stuff. Feels so believable.

But Ubi would screw it up.

I guess Ghost Recon's next entry should give me a taste of the idea.

Yes. I just finished my first mission where they show up, and their location on that is random.

Yeah, I feel like I'm missing something too. Hopefully the later tapes shed some light on this, at least to some extent.

Wait till she's in position. She hums when she has a target and ready for your order.
Also there's a reason why she can hum but not speak.
When she is in position and humming, how do I give an order to her? When I press L1 all I get is the option to speak to her, and all BB says is "Quiet".

I don't think we'll ever see a game like TPP again :/

So my game crashes when trying to load back to Mother Base after Chapter 12.

Dope

Anyone else had this? It's crashed 4 times at the exact same spot now.

mission 20 is another game highlight btw, in case you're wondering when it picks back up

might wanna skip the intro credits

also, speaking of that
I appreciate that there's specific dialogue if you try to use the Water Gun on the Man on Fire, lol

why are there not multiple save slots

I now have to decide between either deleting my save and restarting or dropping the game altogether

When I saw that Ghost Recon reveal at E3 I was amazed, but it feels like Phantom Pain kinda beat it to the punch already when it comes to open-world stealth/action gameplay.

I was doing a target practice side op on Mother Base and found blueprint. The problem is that I misjudged a jump and ended up dying. I believe it was a Fulton Soldier blueprint though I can't remember it exactly and I'm not sure where it is now or if it is even there since I died before hitting a checkpoint save. I can't find it in the documentation tab in the iDroid either but I could be missing it somehow. Does anyone know where it is exactly on MB so I could double check?

Honestly can't believe how badly the missions are numbered.

The replay missions should have been on a different list and numbered after all the main story missions, not mixed up inbetween them.

do i need to complete the main objective when replaying main missions for fultoning missing people like the transportation specalist?

It's almost definately an emblem part. As far as I know there are no crucial R&D-related blueprints hidden on Mother Base.

Yeah, it kinda implies that you'd HAVE to do those missions to actually see all of the story, which (thankfully) doesn't seem to be the case

Wonder if they're just there as filler because of budget or time reasons

This is basically me.
The lack of checkpoint in the middle of the mission is frustrating. I know I'm bad at stealth but this is too punishing for me. I'm getting better after 10 hours or so, but I always make a bad move at some point, ruining the whole operation.

I cannot believe the state of these servers. I want to build a fucking FOB.

Trust me, you don't unless you want your stuff to be stolen with no way of you defending against it and the constant frustration of "losing" when you invade because the server disconnects and then you lose more stuff. It's not worth the hassle.
