Roughly 75 percent of this podcast is about Metal Gear Solid V, but we somehow manage to sneak in a tidbit here and there about Marty O'Donnell and the future of Destiny, new PS4 firmware business, Dan's adventures in pants-buying, and the video game monarchy.

Episode Notes:

Metal Gear talk runs from 5 minutes in till 1:26:40. We don't mention any major plot specifics but there's plenty of discussion about late-game missions, content after the credits, and so on.

God dammit. I've had to skip so much of these podcasts recently because I haven't gotten to Ground Zeroes and, subsequently, MGSV yet. Ah well, it's only natural.

There is a whole lot of talk about MGSV in this episode. If you have played around 40 hours, then you might have seen everything they talk about. They mention characters and backstory that happen up to the 40 hour mark. There is stuff in here many would consider a spoiler, but some may be happy with it. Aside from that there is some great talk about how open the game is, letting players do what they want when they want. and not limiting them with silly rules.

Welcome back, Daydream and Renpatsu!

Also, I just skimmed the description and was afraid there would be Rosie O'Donnell talk on the cast. *shudder*

Kinda bummed that over half of the show is devoted to MGS V, and that it's so short, but at least it's something to listen to on the way back home today for the commute and a fun little birthday surprise

Barely 2 hours. What is this trash.

It would have be three hours, but Brad cut out all of the spoilers.

Shit. Learned my lesson with Brad and spoilers. I'll have to save this for a later date.

Ironically he says in this episode that he's glad he didn't watch most of the MGSV trailers since there were more surprises for him...right after he spoils something for people who didn't watch the MGSV trailers.

I love hearing the GB crew talk about Metal Gear, but I guess I'll just have to skip this for now.

I mean, there's a major spoiler warning before they begin talking about it and in the show notes.

My copy of MGSV isn't even going to be here for a few more weeks, and I am going to (try and) finish DA:I and Dark Souls 2 before I get into MGSV... sooooo I guess I will go back and listen to the first 90 minutes of this podcast sometime in 2016.

80 minutes of Metal Gear talk

20 minutes of Destiny talk

Not saying the conversation is bad or anything but this podcast sure is a gauntlet of things I don't give a shit about.

Lol an hour and twenty minutes of MGSV talk. I hope next week is like this too as more of them finish the game.

This LA Podcast festival thing they're doing seems incredibly slapdashed!
