Anyone that order MarioMaker from TGC or Simply get delivery yet?

I originally had it ordered from TGC but moved it to Amazon after getting £40 Amazon voucher for £20. So was just curious how eaely I could have got the game if I wasn't such a cheapskate!

My TGC order was shipped yesterday so hopefully it will come today.

Being unauthorised has nothing to do with customer service

Indeed, that was my point. They might not have permission from publishers, but they offer a great service, competitive pricing, and you'll likely have not regrets buying from them.

Unless financially supporting major corporations is more important to you than buying and playing games,

Damn waiting for Xbox One to be around £250 before I bite. I have Rare Replay and Gears already at home waiting :(

So you bought the games before the console and now you wait for it to become cheaper? How much did you pay for the games? 5 bucks? This doesn't make much sense otherwise.

US PSN has more interesting offers, and US PSN cash codes are easily gotten from Amazon.com

Non the less those are some interesting prices.

Anyone know where I can find a cheap copy of Football Manager 2016?

I was going to buy from Nuuvem but it says that you can only activate the key in Brazil.

Has anyone who ordered directly from the Nintendo Store received their Mario Maker despatched yet?

I'm still waiting...

I have. Dispatched today, got the email early in the morning.

Heads up for people who want the Boba Fett edition of Disney Infinity 3.0 on PS4, Amazon.fr is still out of stock, but Amazon.es has them for the equivalent of £70, with possibly a few extra pounds postage. Might be able to save a few more pounds if you let your bank handle the euro conversion too. If you're anywhere in the EU, no import tax either.

My Mario Maker is still awaiting despatch from the Nintendo store and I just noticed I ordered a medium t shirt with it which is probably fucking huge. Ugh.

Are they any good for delivery usually? I mighty just pick it up from my shady retailer on the way home now.

When their Mario Kart 8's missed release day delivery, they gave everyone download codes and the game still delivered.

Thanks for the reply. Mine has been despatched as well now!

Wow that's awesome of them.

Especially when you think about that free game offer we got with MK8. Extra free game and a copy you could sell!

They're ran by ShopTo which is why I wasn't shocked to hear about the delay at the time, but I'm sure Nintendo handles the larger customer service piece. I could never imagine ShopTo doing that.

Nice! It actually just despatched so that's that.

Now I think of it my only previous physical order from them was the Zelda 3DS faceplate fiasco where everybody got the wrong one. They took care of that too but not especially quickly.

@Super Mario Maker players – would SimplyGames.com be a good solution? They broke street date right, left and centre for MGSV. If you order by 3.30pm on any day, they deliver the next day, first class, for free.

CDKeys now killing it at £10.49 for Mad Max on PC

www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/mad-max-pc

I guess this is what I got on board PC gaming for. A savvy friend of mine swears by them. I'm a little dubious but I'll bite for this one.

Got both games pretty cheap so I jumped on them. Plus at the same time there was a deal on for the console and went to buy it and they ended up out of stock. And it hasn't gone down to £250 since lol. I can buy it for it's current price but just hoping it drops again before the end of the month. If it doesn't then I'll just buy it at it's current price I guess!

Despite all the hate ShopTo gets, I must say that my 2 buying experiences with them went without a hitch, Uncharted 3 a day early and MGS5 3/4 days early including Steelbook.

Of course I'm sure the failure rate increases with amount of orders and the only reason I used them for MGS5 is because of that darn Steelbook.

Isn't the Nintendo store part of the hut group?

The Nintendo store normally gets stuff to me a day before release.

it's run by the hut group aka Zavvi who are based out of Jersey so sometimes delivery isn't as fast as other mainland companies.

Also my Mario Maker was dispatched yesterday by Gameseek and didn't arrive today, guessing its a larger than normal parcel with the artbook and box etc....

I'm more interested in supporting the developers and publishers than unauthorised resellers. If some of them are major corporations, so be it. Some of my favourite games have come from major corporations so I don't feel like not supporting them just to save a bit of money.

Oh, that's the one. I knoew it was Zavvi or ShopTo, one of the two I usually avoid!

SimplyGames dispatched my copy of Destiny The Taken King today right in line with their dispatch of MGS so for a Tuesday Launch its dispatched on a Wednesday ;-)

My copy of Mario Maker from The Game Collection shipped on Tuesday and arrived yesterday.

Only had time to play for a bit and upload a simple course but happy to get something early unexpectedly.

Anybody think that the Wii U will get a price drop before Christmas. I want to get one but don't want to end up paying over the odds.

I mean it's impossible to know but there's been no rumours of it dropping. I just can't see it happening this year. But with Nintendo you never know.

Wait, is that this week? Fuuuuuuccckkkk. I was expecting to platinum MGS V this weekend.

EDIT: 18th, next week. Don't scare me like that!

18th? :lol I've been thinking it was out on the 15th for like 2 months now, even scheduled a mini tournament with my mates for launch day.. ;_;

I don't get why it's still so expensive. Surely at this point in it's life it would be best just to sell it quite cheaply and try and make returns on the excellent software? Especially as that never really goes on sale. It's bizarre, I feel like they're locking out so many customers by overpricing it.

G2A are no different but their ads appear on GAF.

They are very different to CDKeys though. G2A has a marketplace where your success rate as a buyer will be ridiculously low for a site that is still up and running (and advertising all over the Internet). G2A also offers a shield service ie. asking more money just to help you, because you will end up in trouble if you keep using their marketplace. I don't think a respectable site should ask more money to help you with your purchases just because their services are used by scammers and cheaters.

CDKeys has surprisingly great support service, people rarely have problems and that's mostly why you hear people talking about them in positive light, as opposed to G2A, Kinguin etc. even if they are all just unauthorized key re-sellers.

I doubt it'll drop before Christmas but I imagine that before next Christmas it'll be £50. Nintendo are keeping that thing afloat single-handedly and as soon as they announce whatever NX is, it's dead.
