So, I bought the Collector's Digital from the PS Store. But, for some reason I still need the game disc in the PS4 to be able to play Destiny.

Anybody know why I can't access the digital version of the game?

It's annoying, but you actually have to delete your installed game data and then redownload the entire game from your library.

A few hours worth, but TTK ( and Destiny itself) is never going to be very attractive for someone primarily interested in playing it as a solo experience.

The chest engram, you will still get the crypto rep and a possibility of a year2 maybe. I bought 9, stuck em in vault, if no year2 still get the shards lol.

And on three of those runs, there has been some jerk who quit the run once he had generated enough orbs.

I guess the joke was on them since you must beat the strike to complete the quest, but man is it ever annoying to have to finish that strike with only 2 people. I wish Bungie had somehow made it a little more obvious that you have to finish the run.

So, the Xur engram can drop year-twos, but the other Xur items are year-ones and the faction reward packages only drop year-ones?

If its anything like before, old engrams will decode to old items. Only way around that is probably packages that give you 'new' engrams after the reset.

Each item Xur's selling this week has a Year 2 version, so it might be worth buying them just to unlock the Exotic Blueprints for Year 2, unless you already have them.

They were probably just doing the 'Generate 25 orbs with your super' step of the quest and left once they had enough. You don't have to complete a strike for that step, only the last one

Can't find it anywhere in the store. Only the £75 bundle which includes everything.

I have activated the quest for both Sunsinger and Voidwalker, so my guess is that you can do it yes

Edit: I haven't finished the quests though. I went to tower as Voidwalker, got the quest, went to orbit, changed to Sunsinger, went to tower again and got another quest.

Some of the yellow bars are not majors similar to the Knights in Crota's End as people were farming them for glimmer. Has to be the ones at then end of the strike.

engram content is rolled on purchase / find, so all those engrams are going to be year 1 content.

Are you hoping to get TTK gear in your faction reward packages? If so, I would think you could still complete the rep levels but not open your reward packages until after the update. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

It didn't work for any prior release besides a few people claiming their cryptarch glitched and was the only packages where it worked. Old packages give old engrams that give old weapons.

What you could have done is get the rep to each faction to 2499/2500 and wait to level them. Unfortunately this is a limbo week which makes it harder. Might have still been possible with vangaurd, crucible, and one faction

I stopped playing before the second DLC hit.
What would be the cheapest way to drop in now?

TTK is 40€, but I need the second DLC, too, don't I?
I don't really want to pay another 60€ for a game I already spend 80€(vanilla game + dlc) on.
Am I missing some upgrade programm here or is Destiny just really, really expensive?

the disc is the same as the original destiny disc from year one.

the dlc code is only 1 code for all: TKK and DLC 1 and DLC 2.

and there is an additonal ps+ code for 1 month for free.

If it makes you feel any better, the likelihood of someone wanting to buy only DLC1/2 from you post-TTK launch, when they're included in all methods of acquiring TTK was probably nil.

Vanilla Destiny has been replaced by its Legendary Edition at retail and on PSN, which for the same US$60 MSRP includes the base game, The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King.
