Yeah just like MGO2.
Why didn't they tone down the explosion smoke effects for multiplayer? That framerate is inconsistent.

i feel like they are the complete opposite. MGSV is incredibly fun to play with a shit story, Bioshock Infinite is not that fun to play with a great story.
It's strange, because the strategy guide makes no mention of a "Nuclear Disarmament" ending.
That being said, maybe it was hidden because it ties into Mission 46?
Metal Gear Solid: Everyone fanboys about the Boss's will, nobody knows what it means...
Stealing this from a youtube comment:
It's not, it's clearly to do with the FOB stuff, which is why the credits rolled steam IDs into it.
It's not an ending as such, just something has to happen such as the speculation that you need to steal and dispose of 50 nukes (as the credits have space for 50 IDs), or everyone online has to no longer have a nuke (as the total number counts down to 0 of nukes in the world)

I really love the Skull Face lust for revenge scene. One thing I don't understand is this: as Venom approaches Skull Face at OKB Zero, he is preparing to leave on a helicopter. Why exactly does Skull Face decide not to leave, decide not to kill Venom right there, and furthermore why does he bring Venom to show off the Metal Gear? I mean Skull Face tried to kill him twice already. Seems like movie logic where the evil mastermind reveals his plan for no reason and gets himself killed
After MGS V TPP, men become demons.

is it me but does Ground Zeroes have a darker theme than TPP
a fallen legend.... [soldiers from around the world all fall at his feet and abandon past affiliations to work for him].... punished and descended into hell... [rescues child soldiers and tries to rehabilitate them into society]... the madness of outer heaven awaits... [stops huey being lynched and spares his life after everything that's happened].... men... become demons [plays with a puppy and ends nuclear weapons]
I think people are forgetting that an entire act/bossfight/ending whatever was hidden in Peace Walker.
They said the real or "special" ending, whatever it was, wasn't revealed. People said it was the V is not BB thing, but that was already mentioned.
dd's puppy padsThat's another thing that always bothered me a little. How come all these people just abandon their prior lives to go and chill with Venom at Motherbase? Don't they have any family they'd rather be with? Nobody seems to say no to joining up. Perhaps it's more of Ocelot's dumb magic hypnosis powers.
It's not like the Boss's 'will' was some complex thing either. Everyone is stupid in these games.
You try to mock, but people kept repeating this with The Last Guardian too. We just have to keep believing. For Xenu! The leaks are fake.

Let what go? The guide didn't reveal the nuke-free-world ending, and they said there was such a hidden ending. Nuke-free-world is the hidden ending that you can unlock. End of the story.
That is how I took it after I learned the truth about Big Medic. I don't understand the hate for the medic. Big Boss isn't some super hero. His mission to take out The Boss involved 2 other double agents (EVA and The Boss herself) and a triple agent (Ocelot) helping him. The legend of Big Boss that Zero built around him with all the propaganda and Big Boss's ability to get people to follow him is what makes people so loyal. MGS1 taught us that genes mean very little so long ago.
The conversation between Ocelot and Kaz where Ocelot tells Kaz that Venom isn't the real Big Boss happened just after he woke up from the coma right? The way I took it is Ocelot told Kaz, Kaz said fuck Big Boss but I'll still go along with this to get my revenge, Kaz and Ocelot joke about adopting a Big Boss clone and killing each other.

Don't they have any family they'd rather be with? Nobody seems to say no to joining up. Perhaps it's more of Ocelot's dumb magic hypnosis powers. They're technically kidnapping these guys. Are they getting paid? Does Venom Snake endorse Slavery? These are the real questions.

The reason why SkullFace attacked Mother Base in the first place was to steal McDonald Miller recipe for burgers.

Sony always said TLG still exists, this situation is different. You try to mock, but people kept repeating this with The Last Guardian too. We just have to keep believing. For Xenu!
Yeah the whole "we're gonna go there" approach to taboo subjects was a total fake-out. There are other games that don't advertise their protagonist as "already a demon" that go far darker than MGSV.
Even stuff like the child soldiers was handled so delicately it didn't even make me feel remotely unsettled, which is not really a complaint I have... I just don't feel like it was as dark as it could have been. I mean they could have even maintained the plot by switching the roles of Eli and Kaz in terms of child soldiers.... Kaz would want to raise the kids as soldiers for Diamond Dogs and then Eli would lead them to escape under the promise of a "better life" instead of the other way around.
Let go of what? The community manager practically confirmed the nuclear thing unless he's lying which will result in a bigger clusterfuck. I think you didn't follow my posts around this thread and the one before but I for one liked the story overall and disliked certain things about it. As for the twist, it didn't bother me because I was expecting something crazier lol.
They showed every cut scene prior release, even the birthday one. You're confusing one explanation with another, though. The community manager, in a way, confirmed the cutscene was not cut. If that is true, we'll see. But that cutscene being in the game does not, in any way, prove there is another hidden ending.
There's a hidden cutscene for your birthday. And for having negative GMP. There's a hidden cutscene if you stink too much. What I'm trying to say is that there are multiple, optional, cutscenes in this game and until we know how this one gets triggered, I wouldn't expect it to be an additional ending.

"Always" is grossly exaggerated. They occasionally made statements that TLG isn't officially cancelled, but those were rare and cryptic at best, did you see the TLG threads over the years? It was never always clear. Did Konami or Kojima said anything regarding cut content?Sony always said TLG still exists, this situation is different.
it could be possible that Konami forced some more taboo stuff out. No way to know for sure though.
The internal drama surrounding the development of TPP would surely be far more interesting than TPP's story. Sadly we'll never know what happened.
