Phantom Medic Boss was supposed to represent us in the game, and I'd say it was perfectly executed. He didn't have any emotional reaction to anything going on in the game, and neither did I!
Well, when you put it like that...
Phantom Medic Boss was supposed to represent us in the game, and I'd say it was perfectly executed. He didn't have any emotional reaction to anything going on in the game, and neither did I!
What's the cut stuff from the last trailer?
Even more damning is that Skullface was helping out during MGS3. Meaning Big Boss Legend is just that, A legend.
E-Cigs were invented in the 60s.
Anyway, you guys are missing the point with ST84. It's useless without Mantis. The thing literally doesn't work. It's a showpiece.
It's still fully armed with it's Balrog whip swords and Metallic Archaea powers.

I think Peace Walker screwed that up first. Shagohod makes sense, the PW parts can fly and are huge and are AI controlled and all that crazy shit. Sahalentrhopus was never meant to be used but it's still fully armed and looks/is weaponized in such a way that it looks like it should be in Rising.
The canon of the tech levels in MGS was just thrown into wack by PW and the iDroid is even worse.
Don't forget the iDroid, Cyphers (flying security cameras which weren't supposed to appear until the events of MGS2) and Phantom Cigar (e-cigarettes in the 80s, remember those?) The tech just got out of hand in PW and MGSV.
Exactly, Sahelanthropus didn't work, it barely stood on its own two legs, it wasn't anywhere near complete according to Huey. It was Mantis who controlled it using telekinesis.E-Cigs were invented in the 60s.

There were badass boss fights in MGS4? I should really replay it, the only bossfights I remember were the Beauties.
Evil in MGS means jackshit. Evil is definitely the wrong word considering what we know about outer heaven and zanzibarThe trailers really gave the impression that's the game would be like, especially the E3 2014 trailer. Considering MG1 where Big Boss is suddenly evil, it would have made a lot of sense.
I think the environment you encounter a boss in is a little more important than that, as well as the actual fight itself, over little details that don't really matter, but okay, I guess.
3 > 1 > 4 > 2 > PW > PO > V
When it comes to bosses from a gameplay perspective. So yes, the bosses in 4 were pretty badass.

Did you stop at Act 3?
I like the part where he burns up and just brushes it off a few seconds later.
Traded my copy for The Witcher 3 and $10. I regret nothing.
Is there a source on this?(mad max quotes)

The phrasing is almost exactly as the anecdote about Kojima wanting diarrhea in MGS2, and then cutting Snake's dialogue without changing the way other characters interact with him sounds like something herculean at the 11th hour.

Or where he gets shot up and then reappears again.
I would probably switch 4 and 2 because I really like Fatman, Vamp, and the heliport fights. I didn't like any of the Beauties fights, but the Rex/Ray battle was great. The more I think about it, the more I dislike the Ocelot fist fight.
Just realized Big Boss is Forty-fucking-nine in TPP. What? So weird.
Yes, the source isI just made this in photoshop because I am extremely bored and it's sunday.
Yeah lol, like a fucking Terminator. Gets shot dead in the ambulance, proceeds to take the clothes, boots and Motorcycle from Ocelot. Oh and a cigar.Or where he gets shot up and then reappears again.
I'd go 3 > 1 > 2 > 4 > PW > PO > V
But then in measure of quality in general and not just series wise.
Great: 3, 1
Good: 2
Bad: 4
Oh God Why are These In Here: PW, PO
That counts as a boss fight?: V
Badass is definitely not a word I'd associate with any part of MGS4, except perhaps the REX/RAY fight and the Raiden/Vamp fight.
Oh man, I wish. If I had known how steep the cliff is that that game drives off after Act 2...

Eh 4 bosses are good IMO except for raging raven or whatever. Just for the vamp, metal gear boss fight and end fight, mgs4 bosses are redemmed.
Real question os though
where does rising revengeance fit into the list of bosses hmm

Really? Kaz and Ocelot skimped out on the candles on that cake. There were nowhere near enough!

I don't blame you, it's a better game and it's going to get even bigger.
I'm not sure why that's so particularly weird? It's not like he's Eighty-fucking-nine.

Guess this is where he gets the OH insignia from then

I just listened to all 50 tracks on the OST, and this shit is really extremely good, and it's rapidly becoming my favourite metal gear ost, even if it's missing the iconic metal gear theme.
Heck even the Metal Gear Online track is dope.
I really liked the AIs in PW. It's the tanks and choppers shit that I hated there.
Sahelanthrepous doesn't even really respond to "breaking" his parts, he's just a giant Rocket-sponge.
The AIs on the other hand were very reactive. If you focus on damaging a certain part, eventually attacks that utilize it would no longer be useable.
In V they have one boss like that, and they couldn't even get shit they got right in their last game v_v
Or when the choppa lights him up.Or where he gets shot up and then reappears again.
