Sony TGS 2015 Conference [Over]

Where that jrpg Sony...

Probably still too early since one of them is FF-type big and they've been announcing their titles later in development and closer to release than before. It's probably still a bit away since something like that probably takes atleast 4 years to make even for an already together team.

LMAO at the people who say they were disappointed. Just what the hell where you expecting from this? The last 30 minutes dragged a bit, but they showed pure games for an hour, with tonnes of new announcements. Obviously they'll have to spare some time for hardware announcements, price drops and VR.

Unsurprisingly Verendus was misleading people...

That advert at the end was cringeworthy...felt like a throw back to the 50s, but with modern glitz and careful choreography. No thanks.

Don't be such a baby. He's made it clear from the very beginning that things get pushed back sometimes. Bloodborne was originally meant to be announced at TGS 2013 but Sony pushed it back to E3 2014. Shit happens.

Level 5 like to announce stuff at their own events.

Only self-published games. Sony's meant to be publishing this one, so they decide when it's shown.

Overall I thought it was good, there was a couple PS4/vita games I actually want to get and there might be hope for a price cut for the west.

Whew, that was a fantastic conference. The end was a bit weak but all the stuff they showed and announced... damnit. So good. And there's still 2 conference to go.

Good conference. Probably should have ended with the first 30 minutes but I am sure it is a respect thing that they give third parties stage time after their own stuff.

That whole first hour was fantastic. Some ok news sprinkled here and there during the last 1/2 hour, but it mostly just fizzled over. Overall it was still great. Lots to get hyped about.

I like the price cut.

Also, I wish that Red Vita was releasing in the US. I may have to import it.

But overall, I'm like.. well.. a few RPGs here and there when I pick up a PS4 in 2016.

For now, there's too much stuff to purchase. Also, all that Miku reminds me that I've got Project Mirai DX sitting there, taunting me.

Happy to see a few Vita titles.

A lot better than I expected. Ni-oh is probably the one that piqued my interest the most.

Same here, the AI did at one point attack the wall but everything else looked awesome.

I really want more information on the Vanillware x Atlus game, can't believe they showed 2 seconds of that right before I believe the black hole of awfulness that was Capcom.

The musical ad is cringeworthy.

There was not much else for me than Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, Dark Souls 3, and possibly Gravity Daze 2 and Nioh, but BB expansion coming in November is more than enough for me by itself.

- GR2 + GR HD
- Bloodborne DLC 2015
- KoF 14
- Yakuza 6 + Yakuza Remake
- Kingdom Hearts 2.8
- Danganronpa 3
- Project Setsuna
- NioH
- Tokiden 2
- RE Umbrella Corps
- Miku PS4

from what I rememeber

Gotta be honest, this show did absolutely nothing to get me back into Japanese gaming titles aside from the select few.

Miyazaki won for me just for this cover alone.

That last thirty minutes should've been integrated into the conference. Instead of "game, game, game" for sixty minutes you could've mixed some of that stuff in.

Also: Did we imagine the Level-5 title? Like, maybe it's not real?

And what did SEGA reveal? Like, just Yakuza, more Yakuza, and that Hatsune Miku title?

Just caught up with Ni-Oh, and holy shit. I basically indirectly got my Onimusha dream. Just hope the game is as good as Onimusha was. Certainly looks great.

I actually like their PS4 commercial. It's over the top. Sad about no Persona 5 showing even though it was part of the opening of the conference.

Pretty good lineup. There were of course plenty of games I don't care about, but at least everything stayed pretty close to the realm of games I would play.

Setsuna, Gravity Daze, Danganronpa 3, and that Vanillaware game all have me intrigued.

Despite it kind of fizzling out towards to end I am really pleased with this conference. There were a lot of must have games shown off.
