Sony TGS 2015 Conference [Over]

Kinda disappointed that KH 2.8 doesn't include at least the 2.5 collection.

Glad they announced Bloodborne expansion and Gravity Daze 2 but it seems 3rd parties support vita better than Sony themselves.

This has been true since forever. Without 3rd party support, Vita would be really dead.

+ Gravity Daze HD Port 12/06 this year
+ Gravity Daze 2 (hnnnnggg)
+ Ni OH (looked good)
+ Bloodborne DLC
+ Price Drop
+ Resident Evil Umbrella Corp

- Persona 5 release date relagated to their event. Press pass for sure....
- No Tomorrow Children release date still?
- Level 5 AAA E3 Game?
- Studio Japan w/ only one title announced??? 400 folks.
- TLG update???
- SFV character reveal?????

SFV character reveal will be at 20th I think it's already confirmed. They probably didn't show it at the conference becaouse it would be too close to Rashid.

It's bizarre that Level-5 were a no-show again. They were supposed to be at E3, and there was no sight of them at the TGS conference either. Next stop PGW I suppose.

No TLG either. Bummer.

Sad at no Level 5 but that was entertaining. Hot Shots Golf looked fantastic. Gravity Rush fans got what they wanted. NiOh looked great. Bloodborne DLC. Dragon Quest Builders looks great and coming in a few months. Project Setsuna does look to harken back to the old days.

Pretty shocked all Capcom could show was some shooter Resident Evil game. With so much going on or possibly going on, really surprised there. World of Final Fantasy looks great. Sad that SaGa isn't hitting PS4 also.

Overall great show. Tons to digest. Just crazy that Deep Down is still MIA at this point 2 years into the cycle.

I gotta hand it to Koei Tecmo...they were the Musou guys, but now they can proudly stand on stage and trumpet new, original IP.

Toukiden and Ni-Oh. Helluva show, K-T!

Bloodborne DLC, Gravity Rush 2, Danganronpa 3 on PS4 (DREAM COME TRUE!!), Ni-Oh, and Vanillaware's new game made this an epic show for me. Honestly just as excited as I was watching E3. Throw in the rebirth of the JRPG genre on console, I don't think I've ever been happier as a gamer.

This. So much stuff I'm super excited for.

And that GR remaster, the bit of Project Setsuna (didn't catch the new name), plus 13 Sentinels (that footage looked really nice), KH, One Piece, World of FF, and looking forward to the future first real footage of that Saga game.

GR2 looked godly in that footage.

Edit: Oh yes, Hot Shot Golf looked nice too, getting that.

Wait, some people think this was a BAD conference???? Look at what's listed in the OP

Besides the golf game and Bloodborne DLC (no one should be excited for DLC)
this does nothing for me. SO for me this was a pretty bad conference. Then again I really do not care much about Japanese games since I find most mediocre and they just do not appeal to me.

Say what you want, but Vita seems to have a great 2016:

Setsuna
Saga
13 Sentinels Aegis Rim
Toukiden 2
World of FF
DQ Builders
DQ Heroes 2
J-Stars: One Piece thing
Dangan 3
Gundam VS (bamco will refuse to localize this)

In fact, Vita lineup looks far better than 3DS one. Would have been even better if Vita had KH 2.8 and Yakuza Kiwami too.

Vita stay jobbing even when trying real hard.

Overall give it a B++.
Lots of positives but slowed down at the end. Capcom did Capcom and no Persona and Harada with noTekken news.

Most dreams came true today. Stuff like the new Eyes of Heaven trailer, P5 and SFV are hopefully still coming later this week.

Gotta be honest, this show did absolutely nothing to get me back into Japanese gaming titles aside from the select few.

Miyazaki won for me just for this cover alone.

Magnificent. I'm salivating at the thought of using the sheath to that sword as a weapon itself. Imagine dual wielding the sword in one hand and the sheath in the other.

Looked absolutely horrible IMO. Like a parody.

With Level 5's console outing much more popular in the west, I guess it's possible something like Ni No Kuni 2 could be announced in Paris or PSX instead.

Lots of games. Though because of that everything just felt rushed and could only show like 5 seconds each so didn't really get to see much of them.

But disappointing for me because there wasn't really anything here I wanted new. Big letdown that no Level 5 game was shown here. That's what I was mainly hoping for. Wanted some decent/big announcement but that never came.

Overall a good show for Japan.

GR2 was the big deal for me, nothing else newly announced excited me nearly as much.

Bizarre to see Ni-oh again, wasn't that announced for PS3 at launch? It looks pretty good.

Yakuza 6 on PS4 has me interested.

World of Final Fantasy continues to look pretty cool.

That mecha Atlas game looks beautiful.

Disappointed that there was nothing from Level 5...If there is even such a thing in production, maybe they are having some problems? The lack of TLG was baffling and irritating. They re-introduced it and show bugger all at their conference. Maybe it is also still in trouble and they are trying to rush it for release next year?

The ending of the conference was very weak aside from the price cut, otherwise they had a good amount of content.

Did not end with a bang, but dang if this isn't a damn solid conference.

A price drop isn't a big enough bang for you? I kept hoping they would say something about one but with every minute that passed during this event I thought it was less and less likely we'd be getting one this year.

There's no way they'd cut the price in Japan and not cut it here as well.

Like some other person was saying,
if you were looking forward to RE or DMC, we still have TGS.

Because I don't think devs would announce a multi platform game at Sony's conference.
That RE shooter was a PS4 exclusive if I read it right.

For that reason, I have a feeling Persona 5 might go multi-platform like someone was saying.

Shame they didn't end with Persona 5 or Level 5 but still a fantastic conference I thought. Glad I got up early for it.

Lots to look forward to but most excited for the Bloodborne expansion, Yakuza & Gravity Rush 2!

"I didn't like the japanese conference, because they showed a lot of japanese games.BAD!"

Then why care? SCEJA President said very clear from the start that this conference aimed to Japanese market.

I mean... it's a largely Japanese focused conference so I'm not sure what someone who dislikes Japanese titles expects from it?

Anyways, I'll be sure to edit in some clips tomorrow if I can. Really gotta sleep and fix my sleep schedule.

There's no way they'd cut the price in Japan and not cut it here as well.

With the Star Wars bundle releasing @ $449.99, I don't expect a EU/US price cut till just around March 2016 time (perfect for the Uncharted 4 launch).

Mark my words.

Games I'm getting:

Bloodborne: The Old Hunter
Gravity Daze 1&2
Project Setsuna
World of FF
Star Ocean 5
Exist Archive
Ni-Oh
KH II.8
DQ Builders

My poor wallet.

A lot of people need to be happy for others as well as their selves. Disappointment from a show this good only indicates a complete self centred nature.

It's certainly a possibility. It's not selling well in one market thus a price drop. Dropping the price in a already popular market is literally throwing money away.

There's no way they'd cut the price in Japan and not cut it here as well.

Consoles aren't doing well in Japan, so it is likely that the price drop is exclusive to Japan.
I'm not saying there is 0 chance, just saying, don't expect too much or you'll might get depressed.

[Besides the golf game and Bloodborne DLC (no one should be excited for DLC)

Stop being excited for a good lucking expansion for a GotY candidate made by a reputable dev with a track record of putting out substantive DLC expansions, guys!

Honestly, if you want to be a wet blanket for no stated reason, go for it. Maybe don't tell people what they should or shouldn't be excited for, though.

Then again I really do not care much about Japanese games since I find most mediocre and they just do not appeal to me.

Oh. Uhh. Ok, then. See you next TOKYO Game Show.

Amazing conference.

A+ conference.

This conference pleases me coz:

- Kingdom Hearts 2.8
- Project Setsuna
- SaGa Scarlet Grace
- Star Ocean 5
- New Danganronpa V3
- Exist Archive
- World of Final Fantasy
- Gravity Rush 2
- 13 Sentinels: Aegis Arm

Is there an archived version of the conference somewhere?
