For all the people saying gief its not happening. We already have r.mika and birdie and upcoming Alex I think he is almost confirmed now. So 4 grapplers would be too much in a 16 character roster.

Honestly every SF3 character should look amazing with these animations
Just imagine Hugo with these hair physics or Necro stretching around

I mean, I know it's not underwear from the context, but looking at the gif before reading your text, I thought, "yeah that kinda looks like underwear."
I thought she was just wearing bike shorts (like a sensible person would if they were street fighting in a short skirt for some reason) so I thought the complaints were silly, but now that I see it it does look dumb with the color patch. However, it might simply be an art issue and not some dumb panty flashing thing. If it were all black, it would look weird for sure. Is there any chance she's wearing a leotard over bike shorts, under the schoolgirl outfit?
I'm fairly sure Q will be first year DLC. He's relatively popular for a character who was only in one version of SF ever. I think they're including some characters like Vega and the new characters because they know they won't sell as well as DLC compared to SFII-classics and other characters people are clamoring for

Like I said, watching the WSO they seemed to imply a heavy gief grappler with true framedata wise gief spds was on the initial roster. We'll see.
Eh, the hair physics are the only flaw in the physics animation in 5. Everyone gets short, tight hair and long hair is put in clumps. Hugo might be fine but I really like how his hair would straighten when he descended during his command throws.
Should give him jowl physics, tho.

Old people fighting is probably the coolest thing ever unless it's two old guys fighting
While I'd be really happy if Gouken comes back, I'd cry tears of joy if Gen returns. Probably my favorite Street Fighter characters.
In fact, I'm rather drawn to the old master archetype.

😨 Legit surprised. Gen makes more sense, I just haven't seen anyone talking about him. But I've always felt like Gouken was the most forgotten SF4 newcomer. I mean yeah people hate Rufus, but at least they acknowledge he exists.
Edit: Forgot about Poison, if we get an USF4 character I hope it's her. She wasn't that fun to play as in 4 but I think she would work well in this game.
Hakan would work with the V system well too.

I like gen and gouken. Because they are the most technical versions of their martial arts. Everything like chun li, Yun and Yang are can be traced to gen and he has this odd old style refinement to it.
Gouken is the same way but with shotokan, dude doesn't even have a regular shoryuken in his arsenal , he saves it for supers. And he even has stuff that no one else had like parries, and he had perfected his version of the hadoken so much, it loooked visiblyy different and he does the opposite direction hadokens than akuma. And its apperent gouken is where ryu learns his denjin hadoken from.
I like it when characters have " I am the master " versions of things. Its why for some odd reason, I like master roshi's kamehameha the best

Seth is an abomination and probably the worst SF character of all time. He can stay in SF4. If they're trying to salvage anything worthwhile from his playstyle, they might as well make a new character.
Gouken would be fine in SFV, but seems a bit redundant.
Twelve is just too bland. A plain solid color character is just uninteresting visually even if he shape-shifts.
It doesn't matter? Because he has more moves?

I think I like the plain color motif, that would explain Seth and Twelve haha. But I liked Seth! He's definitely an abomination, but I loved how weird some of his moves were (become a part of me) and his personality. He also had some good synergy between his cocky in-game attitude, the way the cheap AI made new players feel in single player, and how his matches in high level play often ended with him steamrolling over you. It worked well as like a boss character that's just this giant asshole in every way. A giant asshole that's some weird ass naked gray man with a nonsensical yin yang in his chest. I mean if nothing else I think it's fair to say he worked as an antagonist because everyone seems to really really hate him.
But above all else I love that play style, it's both fun to play and to see at tournaments. I wouldn't mind it being brought over to a new character. I honestly don't expect to see Seth ever again, but I think it'd be great. He's totally dead.
Twelve maybe they could make change colors or some shit? Dunno.

He's my favorite of the SFIV newcomers and I think he'd be loved a lot more if they were able to actually make him good. If he were to show up in SFV I'd be so happy

1. Sean : Two Handed Shoryu's brehs. Plus I think he looks cool.
2. Juri: Fun as hell to play
3. Makoto: I am garbage sauce w/ her but she punches people in the dick....swag
4. Maki: Delinquent Attitude plus a Guy like moveset? Hell yeah.
5. A Rival Schools Character : If Capcom isn't going to revive it...might as well use that great cast somehow.

No they have similar applications and the pointbof Vtrigger is to make characters feel unjque according to Capcom. I guess you can't really combo into Ysaar.

Yeah, seth could be cool if he wasn't a copycat. His version of Hyakuretsukyaku is probably one of the coolest moves in SF4
Maybe she's wearing padded bike shorts. To drain out that crotch moisture and crotch air.
Yasir seems to be less of a trap type thing and more of a mobility assistant for damaging combos.

Well, he died in Super Street Fighter 4 ending. If Capcom is going to keep their words about taking story plot more serious this time so I wonder what they are going to do with his death.
