For NYCC it's alex or Guile I am almost sure. They are not revealing Zangief or Dhalsim in NYCC. Alex is most likely 99% probability I am sure. Alex's hometown is also NYC. So correction: For NYCC 99.99% chance of Alex and .01% chance of Guile IMO. Any other other gief/sim rumor is just.......rumor or delusional hoping(just like I hope for Guile as launch character).

Although I do like the idea that's surfaced recently that suggests Laura/Zen are essentially replacements for Blanka and Dhalsim, not so much in terms of playstyle, but because Brazil and India having those two jokes as their in-game representatives in 2015 just seems off.

Great minds think alike. It's not that I hate Blanka & Dhalsim, it's just that I think that Laura & Zen have the potential to better represent Brazil & India.

With Necalli adding charge inputs I probably won't do much more than mess around with the character. I want very much for Alex to be in but if he retains his Third Strike inputs then, again, I won't be putting too much time into him. If things swing the other way and Gief is in, then I'll definitely play him. However, I played him more than anyone in IV and would rather have a different primary/secondary/third at launch.

In IV, I would play Hakan for fun and Gief to win. I'm hoping V grants me a character that's one in the same. I'm banking on that being Birdie (has the tools I'm looking for and is a comedy character) but would love to split time with Mika. However, if she has the same problems dealing with crouching guard that Hakan had then I may look elsewhere. That shit can turn around my level of enjoyment real quick.

Mortal Kombat sales numbers (at least on Steam) prove having them in your audience can bring in the money, but Street Fighter seems to have skipped Russia entirely. I'm kind of surprised now that I think about it tbh.

Russia and Eastern Europe in general have been growing markets on PC and not just for F2P stuff iirc. I'm also kind of surprised by the low total number of fighters from Russia. The US and Japan have got A LOT more reps than I thought.

You keep saying "people" when it was me. In notworksafe's case, he's saying he heard someone talk about "types" of characters, not actual characters. And I wasn't even directly asking him to clarify. That quote is pretty self-explanatory, so there was no reason for me to ask.

The vulva quote you just posted is the quote I was responding to initially, so just requoting it again doesn't really do anything because I'm trying to find out whether that specific quote is actually based on factual information he's heard, or if it's just a super-confident guess.
