I wouldn't say it makes no sense. Disciples are a huge thing in fighters. It would be creatively bankrupt, but I could absolutely see it happening.

It makes no sense in terms of a new character creation that Capcom would want to do to get people excited about the game. It would be the only reveal worse than Vega.

I would love to see a Shaolin Warrior in the game, even though that's not India. :-/

Why do people think Zen is Indian again? Didn't we hear Africa for Rashid or something?

"Zen" as a word has Chinese/Buddhist origin (yeah I know Buddhism itself originated in India). I feel like we're gonna see a yellow asian, even though I want a brown one.

We got a list of 3 countries, and "Zen" fits best with India over Brazil.

God, I hope not. Dudley is a fantastic character in personality, visual design, and moveset. If they want to jettison a great playstyle from an awful character, they should look elsewhere (i.e. Rufus).

I think I've seen you post that before, and I dig it. It also supports the idea Boxer & Sagat might wind up in the game.

Yeah, Vega is awesome. The changes they've made to the character are great. I don't like changing everything to motions, but I'm willing to see how it works out before saying it's stupid.

I'm old, man. I love the SF2 characters and the play style diversity they represent. I love the updated movesets. It's why I want most of the SF2 roster. Nobody plays like them, and I'd rather they do entirely new things with the new characters.

I think it would be fitting if Retsu is related to Makoto, given that the two are similar in terms of fighting style and his stage background in the original Street Fighter is similar to Makoto's stage in 3rd Strike.

I am pretty sure we are around the same age. I grew up on SF2, too. I just don't think Vega has an interesting moveset, and I will always maintain that a stance swap character is weak design.

Vega's stance doesn't seem very well fleshed out. I'm not sure why you switch if all you get access to is a command grab (when Vega isn't close to you unless things aren't going his way).

I don't like his moveset, he's the opposite of the types of characters I play, but I enjoy fighting him.

Re: Yun, all you have to say is CvS2. The same sprite they used for A3Max and CFJ . Then you won't have people laughing at the games you name.

I want this guy in so bad. Keep him tall and lanky with an aggressive style. I could imagine him being the Sagat to Fei Long, rivalling Ken and Ryu and even Sagat himself. Such a cool and simple design that was quite well received... such a shame.

Personally I wasn't a big fan of this design. If they were to ever revisit anything it should be the taller version with hair, just change his outfit.

He is such a meh character to put in the game so early on, but I am so excited for his gameplay. He looks like the most fun version of Vega in any SF.
