Honestly I really enjoyed all of Lost's first season. Shame about the other five seasons though.

I really enjoyed the first 4 seasons. Then it kinda went off the rails. But yeah, that first season had its own unique feel. Once they started giving unsatisfying answers to the mysteries they set up, well...

I know it's had a lot of social media chatter but it's also on Fox. After the way Monday went on the network, I'm keeping my expectations in check. 2.5 may be too optimistic, even.

Here's a weird question. Constantine was smoking a lot in the last couple of eps of the show, and i thought smoking was one of the big no-nos on TV these days. Was that just a "we're canceled anyway so fuck it" kind of thing?
That 5.8 is the household for Muppets? What's the 18-49?
Either way, ABC has to be pretty happy.
The Blindspot is just a slightly tweaked The Blacklist, but without someone like James Spader to prop up the whole show. It is clear NBC is trying to replicate The Blacklist's success with The Blindspot, but I don't think they will succeed. People who are in to that kind of show already have The Blacklist, and I see no unique hook in The Blindspot that would help retain its audience.

Goddammit America, we had one job--to watch Scream Queens--and we failed.
Honestly, the show idea always seemed super niche to me. Feels like something that would have been a better fit on FX.
I also don't recall seeing a ton of commercials for it.

And Best Time Ever continues to do well. Wow.
The Muppets debuted pretty well. A 2.8 in the demo along with one of my favorites Fresh off the Boat doing a 1.9 is good as well.
Limitless seems like it might just stick around.

I was about on target with Limitless, a little optimistic on Muppets and way overshot Scream Queens. Not a total disaster for anyone, I think, but probably pretty underwhelming.

Scream Queen's & Minority Report's premiere numbers are embarrassing for FOX.
Minority Report's trailer made it look like a cheap movie from the SyFy channel. Low rent in every regard.
People stopped watching Fox wholesale, it seems

People only watching Fox for 3 things I guess, Empire, the cartoons, and Football.
Everything else is a dumpster fire.
Scream Queens is amazing and it's going to fly over most people's heads I imagine. I'll enjoy the season and already resigned to the fact that there won't be a second, even before I saw those ratings

I have a feeling that the comedies that are going to premiere before Scream Queen next week are going to do even worse!
Seriously, where is the sense is having a show produced at Ryan Murphy, aimed at younger women, follow sitcoms starring Rob Lowe and John Stamos?! I suspect that they are both going to shit the bed right out of the gate.

They have interesting shows, but most of them are 1 and done.
Um they only kill shows cuz nobody watches them.
Arguable, considering rating levels for all the networks. For instance, all their new stuff is well under Almost Human, which they killed earlier.
Network TV is becoming more and more niche, outside of the NFL.
FOX Animation Domination has been declining. The ratings they were getting on Sundays line up with everything else on FOX, sans Empire and Football.
I'd say that the live watching of broadcast shows is becoming more and more niche.
There is still interest in these shows but the manner in which the public is consuming them has changed so radically I wonder if some viewers (teen girls?) see something like Scream Queens and think "I cannot wait to binge watch that on Netflix"?

Good point - though that changes the dynamic completely of the monetization of these shows.
FOX spared no expense on building brand awareness for Scream Queens, so I'm shocked that the show didn't bring in more viewers than it did.
Then again, their core demo are more prone to binge watch it than let's say the audience for How to Get Away With Murder.
Oh wow, I was spot on for The Muppets and Limitless. And the closest on Scream Queens.

I'm not quite knowledgeable about this, and it's just a guess going from people I know, but nobody I know watches Network television. They really only watch Cable shows. And most of the time it's Netflix.

I'm gonna watch Season 2 probably around december when everything goes on hiatus and if i dont see some pirate ass pirate action i am gonna be very displeased.
Thought the same thing, actually. Too bad Dean Winters probably wouldn't be considered to carry a show though
