Almost done with series 5 for my re watch in anticipation for the new series. I'm tempted to just watch the movie and stop so my enthusiasm doesn't dissipate.

I will see the advert when it appears online. I can't wait to see The Xfiles again.

I am looking forward to seeing the second season of Gotham, I loved the first one.

Mitch Pileggi looks younger than Mulder now, lol. Amazing he's better looking than when he played the nazi in SOA

I'm so confused as to where the second movie fits into these 6 episodes, if it does at all.

I wonder if they'd just handwave the second movie.

This is probably for the best.

Anyone find a better quality link?

Well they would still kinda need to address why Mulder isn't basically one of the government's most wanted then. Granted, I thought the second movie's explanation of it was completely bull shit as well, but the way the series ended, it's kinda hard to ignore. They were going to execute him, and he escaped...not exactly something someone would be able to return from easily, especially if he's back working with the FBI in this?

I can't finish Season 8. I just can't. The lack of Mulder is just a huge void in the show.

Season 8 isn't as bad as season 9 is...at least 8 had Mulder in close to half the episodes. He was literally gone with zero explanation at the beginning of season 9, which I really thought was lazy at the time. In season 8, his absence made sense because he was abducted, but in season 9...Scully was left with their child, and he was no where to be seen, and he doesn't show up again until the last episode.

Season 8 was really good in its own way. It's very different obviously, but it has some genuinely great moments, one that brought me (and my friend) to tears. Season 9 on the other hand, is bad.

I really really hope it's not something as lame as "everyone found out that you were telling the truth about the conspiracy, so here's your old office back."

I haven't come in this thread because I want to avoid as much as I can but I need to know. Have they said if they'd be doing any MOTW episodes?

Aging's a helluva thing

He looks good, and Gillian Anderson is still waaaay hot. I like the continuity of as a child being in love with her and still sorta being in love with her.

That's an interesting casting. I've never seen him in any kind of dramatic role, if that's what this is. X-Files wasn't devoid of situational comedy moments though.

X-Files was full of comedy and had entire comedy episodes. Millennium also had a comedy episode or two.

How many times did Scully actually SEE alien men running around and still play the skeptic about everything?

One that always pissed me off was her shit talking a potential zombies after dealing with them like a season earlier D:

Scully stop.

It's really something that we'll be getting new X-Files and Twin Peaks episodes soon. Now someone just needs to give the cast of Seinfeld and Larry David a billion dollars
