I was hoping they wouldn't go so literal. It's kind of a lazy way to get a point across.
They could of done a lot more IMO. Hopefully her personality and fighting style will be more interesting.

DOA still repping with Lisa but the fans apparently don't like her so *shrug*. DOA5 is one of the only games I've seen that makes dark skin on par with light skin for texturing and proper lighting. Not that DOA5 is really a shining example of lighting engines, but...

Lisa is the best but even she got lighter as time went on.
Just one out of alot of darker females getting lighter out of nowhere.

Based on these pics I get a feeling that she's a defensive character. Mostly that projectile just reminds me so much of Poison and Dee Jay's projectiles, it seems a natural fit for a very slow moving defensive zoning fireball.
Up until now SF5 hasn't had any characters that look like they have really strong defense. Something about her look (I'll admit it's mostly the fireball) makes me think she might be SF5's "you shall not pass" character.

This is kind of a tangent but I don't think Lisa really got lighter I think it's just different lighting conditions.
She really looks no lighter there than say Balrog from SF4
Too bad DOA is still just DOA.

Yo, what is up with all the assumptions getting thrown around in the thread?
Love her design so far, but of course I'm curious how she plays. Not that I can speak for anyone else but I'd imagine 90% of the people planning to play the game even semi-serious want to know.
