Harmonix hasn't even announced that our old old DLC is available yet so I don't understand why people are flipping out.

Best Buy in the US is the same. On the day you preorder they authorize your payment method by putting a temporary hold in the amount for your order. After a few days they charge disappears. Once your order ships or you actually pick it up in store they then actually charge you for you order. I preorder tons of stuff from Best Buy and this is always the way it's worked for me.

Are people freaking out? I'm honestly glad I was able to go through and at least get some good portion of my songs before release already. I trust that my exports (and 2112. That's hugely important.) will be there eventually.

One of the smaller split versions of 2112 is on the store but not the whole thing. So it will be at a later date.

I was only freaking out because I wasn't sure if I was the only one. That and a couple songs actually did work causing further confusion, and there was that post saying all you need to do was follow the links to individual songs which wasn't working for me. Now I'm just being impatient.
All of them, or just certain ones? It would be interesting to put together a list of known DLC that isn't recognized as purchased. Hopefully they're on the case already. I bet there's some weirdness with The Doors in particular because of the RB3 preorder offer...
Where's my notification of adapter release day delivery? Anyone else get one yet? I managed to get my order in with the preorder discount before it went out of stock.
There are some people on the forums who actually started threads about it. I really can't believe how some just want to instantly start whining.

Just from my DLC list I'm missing all of my QOTSA songs, The Kill, Hard to Handle, Intertstate Love Song, Last Train to Clarksville, most/all of my Grateful Dead songs, Bad to the Bone, all of my Siousxie songs, Are You Gonna Go My Way, all of my Stevie Ray Vaughan songs, The Kids Aren't Alright, Losing My Religion, Rooster, Midnight Rider, Kids Don't Follow, She's Not There, Weapon of Choice, Runnin' Down a Dream, Who Am I (What's My Name), The Bitch is Back, I Ran (So Far Away), Howlin' For You, Tears Don't Fall, Killing in the Name, Two Tickets to Paradise, Never Gonna Give You Up, Living for the City, No Sleep Till Brooklyn, Fell on Black Days, From Out of Nowhere, We're an American Band, Love Will Tear Us Apart, What I've Done, The Thrill is Gone, Children of the Revolution, all of my Bob Marley songs, Axis: Bold as Love, and a lot more that I haven't listed.

I don't pay with PayPal I pay with a debit card or credit card directly and the pending charges always disappear after a few days. I preordered a band in box bundle on June 15th and the charge was gone by the 18th.
Weird, I was able to get all the Grateful Dead track packs and the Stevie Ray Vaughn album over here.
Yes, I don't like pending charges......for Best Buy for me using PayPal it charges right then and there. It says pending for maybe a day and then shows up as payment on the activity feed. Then shows up in the statement the following month. I get 2x points using paypal, 2x points using best buy due to GCU and then the gift card promos......I get tons of giftcards to use

I'm on the phone with Microsoft right now to see about the Store purchase. I was calling to ask what happens when payment fails - e.g. do they just cancel the order or do they ask for alternate payment? Anyway, seems they are (once again) looking to see about getting the payment/billing switched, so... we'll see if there's a different outcome. Fortunately it's a quiet day at work so...

Madcatz shipped my legacy adapter despite the fact that I emailed them specifically to cancel it. Maybe I'll sell it with my spare copy of RB4 (I needed another guitar so I've bought the Band In A Box version and the guitar bundle).
Worst case, you take things out of the box to get them to fit in the car. I don't think it would have any trouble fitting in a ford focus though.

The way it seems to work is that songs you have in your 360 purchase history appear for free on the ONE. This doesn't seem to be fully operational just yet, but that's how it should go.

Sorry, LTTP, how does the exporting from RB3 work? I have RB1 and 2 already exported into RB3, but don't think I've done anything with RB3. Was there something included in the original game box? I bought it new, still have the box and manual.

I think I'm gonna just wait til the game comes out. It seems like all the songs aren't even up, and I don't think the export packs are listed.
No, the download still has to be initiated to the XBO, either through the web store for XBO, or in the in-system store.
There's no way to export Rock Band 3 right now, but there is a code on the back of the manual, which could indicate that it MIGHT be possible in the future

There's no way to export RB3 as of yet. I believe Harmonix are working out the details of whether or not it's even possible but like many other things regarding this game nothing has been announced.

Oh gotcha, I misread. This OP was trying to export RB2 using a RB3 disc. Thanks for the clarification.
So I'm just going to go on a small rant. I'm pissed off at my roommate because he did some stuff, got in trouble and now is moving out. He had the internet under his name and he deactivated it yesterday. Now I set it back up and have a new account under my name but they said they couldn't get someone to activate it until the 13th. Almost two weeks with no internet. Which means I can't download any of my songs (I have over 1000) for a week after I get RB4. Yes I know first world problems but I'm still upset.

The thought of having to download all my songs again... Ugh. I had to redownload everything when my PS3 died a couple years ago and it drove me crazy. Oh well, better than not being able to download them at all.
Well shit, guess I will have to do it from my actual xbox. The xbox one tracks dont show as already purchased on the webstore.
Also if we are going to buy some tracks should we be buying them for xbox 360 since they are cheaper?
