It was I.I think my memory of either parries was foggy and i think the user above me swapped the names to the wrong places and i just followed.

actually you almost need to have attack pressed at the same to initiate a counter, but the parry works with just the directional input. forward back is the shove stun.

Not having the Revengeance parry is a shame, but Bayo/W101 parry isn't so bad. It's Korra that had the worst parry. No directional input required, just hammer the L2 button and cheese it out.

Straight out of Bayonetta. I wonder if there's also a special variation for when you parry with exact timing. This could be a game that breaks the streetdate. I could see some stores selling it as early as tomorrow. I'm expecting a thursday pick-up though.
