Yeah but how much combat does he know? Did he replay each difficulty and getbthe highest score? Platinum games-games are always short but with tons of replayability?

All Platinum games are actually pretty short if you play them once on the lowest difficulty. The point of the game is to go back and play on the harder modes and improve your scores in each verse.

Instinctively I'd go for one notch above medium due to Platinum's recent games being a bit too comfortable on their normal difficulty. I regret my first run of Bayonetta 2 being on normal. But I also don't want it to be tedious, soooo....

Playing on normal and died like 5 times in a row (and counting) on mixmaster/longhaul. Have no healing items.
I'm not a platinum expert, of course, but I do consider myself generally competent at games. I consider medium to be, at least early on, a fun challenge.

Or did you mean beat Story mode? Because beating a game in my view, means beating everything, collecting everything etc.
Just story mode is maybe 50% of the total game.
people were asking in the other thread whether this had the Bayonetta style parry or the Metal Gear Rising one. someone said it was like MGR, but i'm pretty sure this is how it was in Bayonetta? i basically never did this in Bayo, could be wrong
