Getting mixed reports from the steam forums, I suspect what's going on is that it's locked to your current desktop resolution, might need to set your desktop to 4k to downsample this.
Will test when I get home from work.
Looks like people are running it at 4K

I don't see an option for 2560x1440 on the pc version.

I just assumed that you could. I played the game on normal and thought "this would probably be a nightmare on hard for a first playthrough."
But if this is more like bayo 2 and Rising balancing then hard sounds like the way to go.

Superion and Defensor showing up makes me wonder if they're there to function as bosses for the Decepticon campaign lol.
That final QTE was kinda funny but the final attack from Prime is just Banderas.gif

took me 2 days, byt the time you get the combat down it's ez-pz.
Still didn't go after collectables though.
Next playthrough will be Hard mode~
I can't confirm 1440p, but 2160p works on a 4K TV. It doesn't seem to recognize DSR resolutions on a 1080p display, though.

Took me what 5-6 hours on Normal? This is if you don't search for collectables which apparently I missed a lot of
They're mostly artwork and gallery stuff but I think they're worth getting cuz the art is really nice. Features some Cybertron series and G1 art.

Very good, I'm running solid 60fps at maximum settings on a GTX 960. Some reports say it can go up to 4k even.

I just played through Chapter 1 for about an hour and a half, GTX 970/i5 4690.
Good Port. Haven't had any issues. There aren't a ton of options but the game itself runs great, and the min. requirements make it seem like it'll run on almost everything, I'm way overkill for it.

For some reason I thought this game was arena based. Does it have actual traversal in its levels? I don't care about it if it's just Transformers Musou.

What is odd is that it isn't polling directdraw for a list of available resolutions, instead they've hard coded in a bunch and included 4K, but didn't include anything between 1080p and 4K, so folks with 1440p monitors hoping to run in native resolution are SOL.

I really hate how the transformation works in this. Extremely finicky.

This gaaaaame! It's pretty much everything I wanted. Great, fast combat. Awesome boss battles and plenty of them. A robust loot system along with character leveling. It's the total package.
Activision dropped the ball hard not marketing the shit out of this thing to action game fans. Platinum really did a wonderful job on it. I had to stop playing to go to work but I'll fire it back as soon as I get home.

EDIT: For what it's worth I'm getting locked 60 FPS at 4K. Specs: i7 4770K, 32 GB RAM, Geforce 980.

I was like this at first...
It works for combos, building up hits on some of the stronger Deceptions and as they take a swing back at you, Dodge...transform...attack, all while keeping the combo meter going...that works because its tied to a single button, Dodge/transform.
I keep my finger on that button as I am constantly dodging/transforming....its just something you'll get used to.
