I see. Our bread, butter, and cheese sandwich is a "get fat sandwhich" and your bread, butter, and cheese sandwich is a perfectly normal staple breakfast. Swedish magic I presume.
It's the power of Ikea.

I like how Euros don't think we have butter.

Entirety of a European cold section. Milk, juice, cheese and yogurt all in the palm of your hand.

Don't worry guys, we got butter.

Here we go again!Cheese on your eggs? What?
I assume that you would have more butter and more cheese on a grilled cheese sandwich, because otherwise it would be pretty dry and probably stick to the frying pan. At least I would (and do).

Here we go again!
Doesn't take much. Most bread won't even stick without fat, it just becomes a very dry toast.
As far as cheese, no compared to what you posted, if I was making a grilled cheese (which is rare) there would likely be a little less.

Well that actually does sound gross.

If there's not more butter or more cheese then I retract my statement. I still prefer a non-grilled cheese sandwich though.

I'm Swedish, not Euro, and that's not a Swedish cold section, ours are typically huge because we eat enormous amounts of dairy products.
WHAT?????? NO!
BACON, EGG, AND CHEESE ON A ROLL IS AN AMERICAN STAPLE.
An omelet or some other type of egg dish HAS to have cheese. How is this a weird thing?
Cheese on your eggs? What?
An omelet doesn't have to have cheese, there are many different kinds of omelet. You can simply mash some egg and spices and it's still an omelet. But yes you're right, that is delicious. I was just picturing a fried egg with a slice of cheese on top, which seemed super weird.

I though so too, but oddly it seems to be a Northern East Coast thing.
Cheese on your eggs? What?
I imagine has a better selection of any European food than Europe.
I need to lie down. I can't fathom something I recognize as so commonplace in NYC and all over the North East not being an US staple.
I didn't post in the thread earlier because I was in class but this thread is absolutely hilarious. The OP's toasted bread with cheese that he trys to pass off as a sandwich had me giggling like a madman. "Struggle bread" LOOOOOOOLLLL

I mean Sweden doesn't really have much of a culinary culture compared to southern Europe but god damn we make awesome breakfast sandwiches. What about a korvsmörgås? Uncooked Falu sausage on a sandwich (ie bread with butter). Like sex in your mouth. And no this is not a troll post. It is that good.

No way is it only a northeast thing. I've seen it all over.
You have no idea my shock and horror when I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich in Maryland and got it served on toasted white bread.

Quite popular in the UK as well. Also baked beans with a poached egg and cheese sprinkled on it on a piece of toast.

I really hope op meant peanut butter and cheese.... But even then I would find that deplorable. Give me that nice and juicy turkey sandwich with tons of toppings.

So, bologna on wonder bread?
So, bologna on wonder bread?
Fried Bologna though...that's what I'm talking about. If this dude simply combined the sandwich powers and fried up some Falu and melted cheese on toasted bread that might just be god-tier.
