I dont think hes is that big , How many games has he been in? He is not really that popular like Guile/Sagat or unique like Sim.
Oh hell no. Yes, it's good from one angle (you don't need to memorize special moves), but it's horrible for all the other reasons.
Guile is strong for spacing/footsies/pressure, that is something so above a new persons head that they will instantly get frustrated and ask why he doesn't have an answer to random shoryu, etc.

We will find out tomorrow. Last chance for him to be in the game. If no character reveal happens tomorrow then sim is the last character imo.

Dhalsim, Boxer, Honda, Dee Jay, T Hawk are all in the lower half of the polls. Shifting them a few places up or down isn't going to move them anywhere near the tiers of 'popular'
I mean heck, Ingrid is higher than all those and not by just a few places either, yet I suspect over half the player base have never even heard of her.

I am kinda surprised of Rog's placement. I thought he was the american favorite with PRog repping him and stuff.
And God SSF4 online was filled with Rogs.

Guile, Sagat, Dhalsim all have equal chances. Dhalsim does not have the advantage over anyone. Can people please stop with this bullshit.

But we've been discussed that doesn't stop someone from being included in the starting roster, and he's pretty memorable as far as SF2 characters even still. I mean Sagat doesn't have his own rap song
Like I said this is Ken's stage anyway. His 3s stage was New York as well.

Well, I only use official polls so my data is somewhat dated coming from the 2013 polls. Annoyingly i don't believe capcom has made public the results of the far more recent character poll. I don't put much stock in 3rd party polls but let's just say that eventhub's query about SFV didn't go so well for boxer either and dhalsim died a death in that compared to already not great placing he got in the official 2013 poll :sThese characters aren't in the game though

Both of them are closely related Buddha was a Hindu before he travelled , this game is fiction after all so it doesn't really matter. They can BS whatever they want in the SF universe.

Well the NYC stage seems to be the background of Ken's artwork, so if someone gets revealed they might have nothing to do with the US.

I think sf5's roster for me is kind of weak actually.
This will be one of those situations where I pull up my proverbial newspaper and go
" well i'll wait till the roster gets good"

Oh no worries, I knew haha.
If she is in the starting roster (highly unlikely considering what's left), then she'll probably get revealed without much fanfare unless she's a boss or something.
Otherwise, she's probably being held for DLC.
I talk her up super heavily because I absolutely LOVE the character and want to see what they do with her in SFV, especially after IMO they did a lot right with her initially in SFxT (and then nerfed her hard after people complained about not being able to jump at her... bleh), but if she were to not make it in, there's plenty of characters I have to play at this point.
I just find it funny that people craft all these crazy theories and reasons why X character can or can't be in, when at the end of the day not one of us knows who or how they're picked until the producers themselves say something post-release. =p
