Please no. It's bad enough as it is with Cammy, Mika and Laura in the game. Ridiculous really.
They would never do that to Makoto though. Goes against her tomboy character and everything.

Cammy's outfit has been trash since forever though. Makoto's on the other hand is one of the best female SF characters.

Why wouldn't they put them in? They are one of the most versatile motions in the series, and can be done extremely quickly from any point on the dpad/stick. Wonder what they were planning on putting in its place if they planned on Zangief being in.

It's just someone kept spamming the information without providing the source. Of Course, if people spammed it so much, it become true to some people's minds.
I think the problem is that careful statements are made by Capcom employees, and then they are interpreted by fans (who usually remove ambiguity from the statement). These interpretations then become the commonly held understanding of the situation.
Combofiend did during an E3 stream. I definitely heard it too, but I thought he meant that specific build of the game.

At this point there's only two characters left and they still have PGW, PSX, and Capcom Cup Finals to go. So I think the NY stage is all that's happening at NYCC. Of course they could choose to discuss some of the other content in the game at NYCC. They still haven't said gone into any of the game modes or the story.

If it isn't a character, I think it'll be a story mode related stuff (if they're taking it seriously this time) or a rundown of extra modes and stuff. Single player modes, expanded online features, etc.

because Ono is attending and doing a presentation. I think they might reveal the new stage.

It's a big event, Ono is coming from Brasil, they've revealed characters for sfxt, mvc3 and umvc3 there in the past. Yea, I wonder why.

Laura has no jiggle from the player 2 side from what I played at NYCC.. Gameplay wise be prepared.
New stage is already out there.

I too heard Capcom were taking out 360's . I assumed it was so the game was more accessible to less experienced players.

I don't think there's any real reason to think that'll happen to Makoto. Karin is the closest to her in terms of characters in the current cast as far as neither of them were really "sexy" characters in their previous incarnations. They didn't do the things that you're suggesting to Karin. If anything they actually covered her up more than her previous Alpha design.
