It means Uncharted did really well to beat most of the FIFA platforms in UK, where FIFA usually destroys everything for months.

Rock Band had the DLC trap as a selling point for Xbox One, because most people in UK had an Xbox 360 previously.

And it also sold quite poorly, seems like only the big fans with lots of DLC bought RB4.

Pretty sure you're wrong. All major UK splits I've seen for Western AAA games have noticeably had skewed spilt to PS4 beyond market share split.

Rock Band is a bad example for proving family title popularity because MS bought a few months of exclusivity for Europe back in the 360 days. That screwed and still screws up the numbers.

It's much simpler than that, games sell better on each platform based on demographics, multi-console owners are an extremely small & insignificant minority. Of course that point is moot in continental Europe for obvious reasons & only works in the US/UK.

I'm talking about difference in chart positions weeks after, not the sales split on launch week, I'm aware that they're skewed toward PS4 but typically not that much

like even MGSV has a smaller gap than Mad Max this week, and I'm pretty sure MGSV had a higher PS4 split

It also seem that PS4 in Germany is bigger than XB1 in UK, but they are pretty close.

PS4 sold 1 million in Germany by half of October 2014, the XB1 around one month after on November 2014.

PS4 is at 1.6 million by March 2015, XB1 was most likely at 1.6-1.65 million by June.

Wouldn't wonder me if PS4 already passed 2 million. BIU and GFK expect to sell atleast 800k consoles this holiday, majority of them will probably be PS4s.

Their name didn't hurt Metal Gear Rising. This may be more of a Transformers thing more than anything else. It doesn't seem to be a strong brand at all in Germany, at least as far as games go. High Moon's games didn't seem to do well either.
