Picked up a bunch this month:

- Destiny TTK
- Transformers Devastation
- Mad Max 3D
- Uncharted Collection

I got my Splatoon Ikasu Art Book in from Amazon Japan today! This is absolutely my new favorite art book, and I own plenty of film and gaming art books. I won't post any inside shots to avoid spoilers/getting in trouble for scans, so I'll just share a couple of cool shots of the book cover.

The book jacket has some awesome unexpected details, featuring embossing on all the lettering and three embossed translucent ink splats. I included a picture I took using flash so you can see those awesome ink splats and embossing. There's also a small slip around the jacket showing selections from the book and advertising the Splatune soundtrack. The actual book itself has a super cool blue design and is very thick and hefty, clocking in at about 320 pages.

I cannot recommend this book enough! It's got absolutely everything--concept art, character art, pictures of every single item, render, location, etc., omake comics, a collection of every Twitter production post...I could go on forever! I can dig it! Buy this now. Right now. Do it.

that book looks mighty fresh.

Time for some Gwent with Hearts of Stone :D
I also finally caved on The Last of Us Remastered at a somewhat decent price - now I have no excuse not to play Left Behind!

A friend gave me the Cold Stone game and I bought the Saint Seiya game.

Tonight I will play the Saint Seiya game a bit to see if it is any good. I hope it's better than the last PS3 Saint Seiya game.

October really does vomit up games like nobody's business. (And a copy of Knack, because reasons.)

Just Rock Band 4 and that Tales of Zestiria CE to go, and I'm done for the year!

Which camera is this?

Hey, not my post but I am 99% sure it's a Sony A6000 with the 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens.

APS-C (1.5x crop sensor, so bigger than Canon T6i etc) mirrorless interchangeable lens camera that's basically point and shoot size. Tons of pro-like firmware features and fairly highly praised among photogs and armatures alike.

Kit lens does nice work but throw a 55mm FE lens on it (82.5mm FoV) and its going to be hard to beat in any situation without spending 3x and having a camera 3x its size.

Also shoots X-AVC S which makes it a fantastic 1080p vidcam.

It's probably the best value camera on the market for its features.

Got a bunch of stuff in the mail these past few days!
My good buddy (Phenomenal Flea here on NeoGAF) moved to Tokyo a few months ago, and sent me a myriad of things for my birthday (albeit a bit late now, heh): Resident Evil 4 for the Wii (which I've only ever played about 1/4 of(!)), two convenience store simulators which he remembered I was interested in, Densha de Go! (which I unfortunately already own, but it was a great thought!) and the complete set of Mother 1 gachapon figures to go with the Mother 2 set I picked up while I was over there.
Also included in this photo is a Korean teaching game for the PS2 I ordered to his house which he included in the box. That one'll be interesting.

I also got a copy of Diablo III for the PS4, because I never beat it on PC and my laptop doesn't run it very well, plus I wanted to try out co-op with my girlfriend, because she's moving in with me pretty soon. I also re-bought Puyo Puyo Tetris on the PS4 (which I own on Vita already) to play with her, too.

Finally, I bought a second controller so I can actually play these games with another person. I decided if I was going to buy a controller that I'll probably use for the rest of the gen (my two sixaxis' are still in use), then I was gonna shell out a little extra money to get a nice special edition one, so I got the anniversary edition controller.

A Nintendo sort of day today:

Bought a $35 eShop card on Saturday in order to buy this:

The faceplates arrived from Amazon France while I bought the Mario 8-Bit Amiibo from Best Buy this evening:

Bought an ex-demo pair of Sennheiser HD800s for $900 AUD.

Sound signature is definitely incorrect with like a F3 point of like 100hz and a frankly excessive treble spike that could only make sense for people with hearing damage. EQ is not all that effective as the harshness of the treble is enclosure related as the craft foam mods I've applied to the enclosure eliminate the problem.

So...speakers are still far better value for money.

Talos Principle. Played it for a bit and already love it. It's a very intruiging game to say the least. Too bad they coldn't quite get 60fps to work, but it's manageble, though I probably would have preferred 30 fps locked instead of this contstantly fluctuating framerate.

I haven't posted anything in nearly a month. I shall fix that.

Finally, a decent coffee mill.

Thanks, work. Only been waiting on these since 1997.

Temps had risen substantially on my 2500K, so I bought this. Turned out it was only one fan on the 212+, but I upgraded anyway. Aside from the little bit of pulse noise from the pump, I like it. I also thought I uploaded the pic that wasn't blurry. I'll fix that.

From the $16 Best Buy deal.

Fossil isn't a brand that most people go for, but I like that I can get the styles that I want at a decent price. This one matches a silver and white dial.

And this:

How's it holding up? I caved and ordered one for my new silver 6s and I'm really hoping it stays pretty.

Actually it is really amazing.

I must admit i was a bit worried it would get dirty but i have no regrets.

Looks like the day i bought it.

Actually looking to get an orange one also.

Funny thing is i actually look for dirt to justify an exchange but i have not had it.

Great purchase.

Finally the day I've been waiting for! :D

huh? since when does it have xbone buttons?

Since the (edit: second) public version at the very least. And they're not like xbox buttons, except you know.. colour.

edit: second verison if you count the one that had a place for a would be touch screen that I think was never shown working

Though they do look a lot like the exact ones you'd find on the xbone controller, those are the four standard colors used for controllers for decades:

https://www.google.com/search?q=sne...GPwjE&biw=1676&bih=949#tbm=isch&q=controllers

No, they're the Xbox colors. Btw all the pads in the search results with those colors are Xbox controllers :P

SNES colors (and superior letter layout, obv) are different. My irritation came specifically from the colors. Thought the buttons would be neutral.

There's several other controllers that use that color scheme as well. Shield, Phonejoy, Gamepad. It is what it is.
