I just spent the last hour watching this live thanks to GAF, and though I care little about politics, I'm impressed by Hillary Clinton. She's good. So good I wonder if any french politicians would handle pressure nearly as well.
 
Can somebody point me to a quick summary of what the fuck the point of this entire thing is, outside of the attempted political dirtying from the side of the Republicans?
 
How the hell are these allowed to go on for so long? I can't imagine someone getting grilled by bullshit for almost six hours.

That really would be the best result of this. Their constant attacking on this point has already worn too thin for most people to care and it ends with her looking strong.

Ridiculous. I'm very impressed with how she's holding up. I was very much in the "meh, Hillary" camp before today, but my opinion is swaying. I'm interested to see the moderate reaction to all this.
 
These hearings are going to backfire on Republicans ala the Clinton impeachment. Local news is already turning on them.

Republicans do know this is just going to make her look better right? You are wasting time, money, resources to uncover what exactly? All you are doing is making her look more and more presidential, you are giving her more time on every channel.

CSPAN does civil call ins during breaks to allow citizens a chance to voice their feelings over the proceedings... they are exactly what you are thinking about.

The whole thing screams conspiracy theory from all sides. Lack of evidence is actually the best evidence of wrongdoing, no matter what she says she's lying because she's a liar because they just know it. Fuck all these fucks.
