Btw. am I the only one getting occasional framerate drops even during offline play? It is pretty noticable and occurs quite a bit actually. Hope they gonna fix that fast. Sub 60fps are simply not acceptable for a fighter.

Edit: and the a button functions as a working select, so im in

Think that's down to the network function interfering. Actual offline versus has been fine at events.

Finally in. Mika is fun but I don't know how to play throw characters so I can't say much.

Rush down on the other hand, I can't believe how much fun Rashid is.

Keep trying, it's letting some people in. I think it's cuz servers are getting DDOS'd. Restart client. I got some buddies in Steam in training mode but im still not in.

They're getting DDOS'ed? Is there any proof of that?

I think it's more like that there's a heavily increased load of users trying to get onto the server now that the PC floodgates are open.

What's your rig if you don't mind me asking?

Also, to people with PS4/3 sticks not working on PC, maybe try downloading these drivers if you haven't? Basically what it does is make your PC think your PS3/4 controller is a Xbox 360 controller. It's worked for me in other games when I've used my DS3.

e: Also, those framerate drops might be because the game does matchmaking in the background in training mode. Same thing happens on PS4.

Whelp, some hacker now has your info.

Why didn't you just pre-order on Amazon then cancel the order? Takes 2 seconds.

I want to buy it and test the beta a couple of minutes for how well it will run on my PC (way below the minimum, but UT Pre-Alpha and Rising Thunder run at a solid 60fps and use the same engine) but I'm afraid of the Steam refunds thing.

If you're on PS4, then that's just the game trying to connect to the servers, not the game's framerate dipping. There is no offline play in the betas.

At the events, there's been no mention of any framerate issues.

I need favor PC bros and sis. Would you let me know your rig and tell me how well the game runs?

I5-4440 processor
16GB ram
AMD HD7850 2GB video card

I'm getting a steady 60fps at 1600x1200 resolution in training mode with a mix of high/medium settings.

Resolution Scaling = 100
Display Depth = Medium
Anti Aliasing = High
Post Processing = Medium
Shadows = Medium
Textures = High
Effects = High

PC experience from today:

- netcode is FIIIIINE, had more lagless matches than in the previous days for SFIV :p
- wow, even my toaster runs this WELL (FX6300, HD7770@1gb, 8gb ram), and I was so sad knowing that I will probably have to upgrade. Nope. Thanks, Capcom

- R Mika is MAD FUN, especially the "taunt" V-Skill, damn. And the easy combos - I Like it!
- Ken has truly changed. He can have mad momentum via his tatsu now. Damn.
- Vega is surprisingly cool, now that he no longer relies on chargers. I like it, to be honest
- Rashid is just some toxic **** against Mika, but probably managable.

I had the opportunity to try out everyone but Laura because I hosted a small SFV-event in a con a few weeks ago, but back then, knowing that i will only have access to the game for an hour or two diminished the fun. To have this in my home...DAMN, it is good.

Cant wait for Karin.

Not bad. Are you able to go 1080p?

One match in 30 minutes and the game just crashed.

Not even surprised with how many issues the PS4 one has had so far.

[edit]

Disconnected from game server. [1000a]

Error that I'm getting when trying to log in.

Not one single match, but that's not a bad thing, because I have just "discovered" (I didn't know, lol), you can combo st.HP and st. MK into cr. LP with Vega (claw on). So he has more combo possibilities than I thought with the claw on.

I have no idea if it is my PC, or a beta issue, but playing the beta on steam causes no sound to come out of my system, and the only solution I found is to restart my pc.

Got some time in but I am kicked now.

Game feels real slow compared to 4, guess that's something that takes some time to adjust to?

I suck at playing with pad I hope the pic version supports sticks soon :/

Says it doesn't detect any controllers. But then when I click the controller text link, it shows my fightstick with correct name and all, and I can see it can register inputs. But I can't get it to say controller 1 ready to use like the picture in the thread itself.

There damn well better be some fightstick support for this beta. I already have the ps4 beta, but no ps4 fightstick, so I pre-ordered the pc version to get into the pc beta so I could try the game with a fightstick

If that's a toaster then mine is the couple of stones used to discover fire, LOL. Your card is more or less as good as mine (GTX 750 1GB) so that gives me hope. :)

PC with a PS3/PC fightstick

PC, ps3 stick

PC with a PS3 TE. Mine's not working either. Guess I'll use my DS3 for now.

Expected as much, I have the same issue. It basically just comes down to a problem of what type of motherboard you have. There is a pretty easy fix in that you can buy like a 10 dollar pci card with usb ports, but I can't do the research at the moment. It's a known problem so if you guys google a little you'll see whats up
