Says it doesn't detect any controllers. But then when I click the controller text link, it shows my fightstick with correct name and all, and I can see it can register inputs. But I can't get it to say controller 1 ready to use like the picture in the thread itself.




There damn well better be some fightstick support for this beta. I already have the ps4 beta, but no ps4 fightstick, so I pre-ordered the pc version to get into the pc beta so I could try the game with a fightstick

Didn't they patch the new beta on PS4 to work with ps3 sticks ?

Or maybe i'm confused and i'm thinking about the final version.

Expected as much, I have the same issue. It basically just comes down to a problem of what type of motherboard you have. There is a pretty easy fix in that you can buy like a 10 dollar pci card with usb ports, but I can't do the research at the moment. It's a known problem so if you guys google a little you'll see whats up

Btw. am I the only one getting occasional framerate drops even during offline play? It is pretty noticable and occurs quite a bit actually. Hope they gonna fix that fast. Sub 60fps are simply not acceptable for a fighter.

Happened to me yesterday a lot, not so much today. Those aren't graphic performance framedropes, they happen due to netcode searching for players in the background. It was a huge problem with the steam version of USFIV during launch.

Hm, the game seems to be crashing at random for me. Just closes to desktop. The game otherwise does run at a fluent 60 fps with everything maxed out. Ugh.

P Throw is for damage but gives up position unless you want to swap sides. K throw throws them forward.

I fucking knew they would have a problem with PS3 sticks. If a stick works on PC with USFIV then there's no reason it can't also work with SFV, it just sounds like laziness on their end, or trying to force people to buy new sticks. I was really hopeful that news would be good but I'm not down to play with pad or keyboard, so I won't be pre-ordering. I'm not even hopeful that the launch version will fix this issue either.

I ended up using JoyToKey and set my stick to arrow keys and my buttons to G H J for punches and B N M for kicks.

EDIT - It's responding to the keyboard just fine. but still not the stick. Might have to map with joy2key / xpadder or something.

To anyone that has a TE2 PS3/4 stick and its not working on their PC, does the stick work with any other games? Personally when I tried KoFXIII/SG, my PS3/4 TE2 wasn't working until I downloaded DS4Windows, and switched it to the PS4 setting, so you might have to try that.

I've had two 30-or-so minute blocks where I don't get anything and after re-launching I start getting matched up again.

Could just be compatibility issues with the beta then. Can't test it myself since I'm on ps4, but there might not just be native support for certain sticks yet. Though its odd to leave out MCZ of all things.
