The Stands start to REALLY go of the rails in this part. That and a pretty great cast in one suburban setting make it pretty enjoyable throughout.

- The stands are more unique than in Part 3.
- The main antagonist is a more interesting villain than DIO is. That's a common opinion but YMMV.
- Morioh-cho, the location, is neat. Gives this part a more modern feel being in a fictional Japanese city modeled after a real one.
- Jotaro is relegated to supporting character status.
- The cast is endearing. Josuke, Okuyasu, and Koichi's antics can be compared to Edd, Edd and Eddy's or Spongebob and Patrick's.
- This is where Araki's artstyle starts to shift away from the hyper masculine Fist of the North Star proportions.
- Comedic moments such as:
Slice of life. A combination of short stories with the arc characters interacting between them.

To me, this part is where the Stand battles got really creative and not too wacky (well comparatively to Part 5 and beyond, like who the fuck understand how Part 5 main villain's stand works), making it the definitive part where all Stands actions are to be judged against.
