I'm expecting this tbh, maybe not slice of life, but Part 4 has more of a conventional shonen feel to it. Now the Dio is gone there isn't really an ever-present threat that's constantly looming in the background.

I remember back in the day Gamefaqs absolutely hated part 4, a lot of people thought it was the worst part. I gotta say, outside of the Protag and Antag I kinda hate it too.

I wouldn't even know what to think if i only had duwang translations to read jojo. I got through it once the re-translation was done and the old translation seems more like a fun shit-show. The slice of life nature of this part doesn't seem like that much of a turn off to me.

Finished part 4 in a couple weeks, loved it, Disliked part 5 so much it took me like a year to finally get through it, and then finish part 6 in a couple weeks.

Hate part 5, by far the worst out of the first 6 (all I've read).

I enjoyed all JoJo parts to some extent, tbh. It's a great, fun series.

Nowhere in the materials/tweets/descriptions released this morning said David Pro was doing it. Only producers listed so far are the usual: LUCKY LAND Communications, Shueisha, and the JoJo Diamond is Unbreakable Production Commitee. Yes, the JoJo anime director for Parts 1-3 retweeted the announcement, but he's a gigantic JoJo fan. Notice how he didn't make any of his own comments.
